15Alright, however can they PLEASE have swimming lessons tailored to specific strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly etc) rather than skill level.
Great pool, spa and sauna on top of state of the art facilities. The place is like a fitness academy! The staff there are great too.
Folks.while I understand precautionary measures you are taking however this one simply defeats science. Viruses cannot survive temperatures higher than 50 degrees C, so not sure how closing down Sauna will help.
Swimming pool is 10 times more likely to spread viruses than sauna. Elders are impacted with closure of Sauna, please reconsider your decision.
Don’t get rid of the water slide also changing the entry to the other side is going to be a nightmare for locals
Smallish indoor pool facilities, ok for lessons or a place to tire the kids out. Haven't used the gym facilities but the look pretty good.
IQ classes are amazing. Training is done in small groups in a large specialised room. I really like the gym equipment too. My daughter loves going to the childcare. The pool is too shallow and short for adult swimming and the change rooms are a bit icky but they’re renovating soon.
The water slide is super fun for the over 5s. Cafe closed a bit early on a Saturday but that's fine as there were maybe 20-25 people in the swimming area.
Coffee was very expensive, no facilities for play apart from lap swimming, lots of lanes were closed for organised groups.
Great services and facilities. The only thing that is inconvenient, is the lack of 7am classes, they are all too early or too late for those who start at 9am.
Very hard place to progress through levels. Not much encouragement to swim better. Some great teachers but also not so great.
Good classes and activities but facilities are rather run down now and in need of the rebuild being planned.
Really nice place, but it seems like there is not enough gym equipment for the amount of people that visit it daily.
Good facility, the pool doesn't have excess chlorine like the Ivanhoe one. It can be very crowded, especially with kids which no one seems to control, parents or staff. This does result in over crowded lanes at times, but if you go when there are no classes on you'll have a better time.
You'll have to be patient in the gym and change up the order of your workout if you want specific machines as there are usually quite a few people. You can usually get on things pretty quickly though as people are courteous and don't seem to linger on machines. The gym is clean and kept cool, and the new group fitness area is really nice.
The staff are very friendly.
One star lost due to the old men in the pool area who make you feel a bit uncomfortable by staring at you, even when you tell them to stop. Not really the venue's fault though and you'd probably have the same issue at any pool.
I asked if they had a private health insurance number to use and they didn't seem to have one.private health does offer a substantial rebate if fitness centres have a number to claim ag
Good place if you live locally. Clean, open space and not too crowded. I would recommend longer opening hours in the evenings.
