Kermond’s Hamburgers reviews
55Kermond’s unique burgers, including the vegetarian option, are second to none. A true local icon!
If you are ever in Warrnambool make sure you visit Kermonds!
Amazing old school burgers and their steak sanga is great too
Always excited to visit this part of the world and a Kermonds burger is a huge bonus. First had one over 25 years ago and they’re still awesome. Folk give bad reviews for stupid reasons. So what’s the big deal if have to request (free) lettuce and beetroot and pay a tiny bit extra if you want cheese? Sheesh. Hope I can still be eating them in another 25 years time. Thanks!
Old school burger joint. Plenty of history. I genuinely hope they don't modernise. Really great food and service
Fast service, burgers were delicious and generous! Most customers ordered and takeaway. Would definitely go again if we had more time in Warrnambool.
Sensational quality "old school" style burgers. Aussie classic addons such as beetroot, egg and pineapple make these burgers sing.
Overall its ok. Patties are good, bun good, sauce good but tomatoes are not fresh more like tomato sauce already. The chips were old, soggy and stale.
Amazing food and service. Definitely highly recommended a visit here if you're staying or even just passing through!
Little old shop but the burger was so fresh, bread was nice, meat was juicy, sauce is just right. The spicy burger was actually spicy which was amazing. Definitely coming back when we visit Warnambool again.
Kermond's Hamburgers was established by John and his father Joe in Warrnambool in 1949. Now, more than 70 years later, the burger joint is still a beloved local attraction. Everything is handmade, from cutting onions and bacon to measuring meat and washing vine-grown tomatoes.
Customers can order their burger any way they like, and all ingredients are sourced locally from trusted suppliers. Kermond's has gained widespread recognition, appearing on TV and radio shows and even being named the Best Burger in Regional Victoria by the Herald Sun in 2021 and Winner of Best Burgers Readers Choice AGFG 2022.
When you step inside, you get the old school burger shop experience. Burgers like this are in their own class. It was so tasty, layered well, didn’t get soggy and was super large. Definitely go for the lot! A feel good meal.
The dim sims and chips could’ve had more crunch, they went soggy pretty quick. Potato cake was on point though.

Its the best burger I have had in 20 years. So juicy, fresh and the beetroot was the best. Two nice guys giving great service. Milkshakes yummy too.
I look forward to my yearly hamburger from here. Best burger place, been in business forever for a reason.
It’s just over a year later since our family visited the Kerman’s store in Warrnambool Aus day 2022 and I still remember how we felt after receiving our $70 order.plain burger on a bun with cheese no salad? Apparently we had to specify and order that which the young shop assistant failed to mention!
After all the accolades and awards they have received we got nothing but a bag of substandard disappointment.save your money and buy a sausage from Bunnings
Travel back to the 1940’s. It’s nice to find something that has kept its reputation for so many years and seeing locals of every generation enjoying it. Simple, good burgers. Good chips. Love the thin patty. Would be nice to see more of a specials menu.eg: chilli con- carne chilli burger, cheese sauces, special sauces, double beef and bacon, pickles, mustard etc.
I’m sorry, I don’t make a habit of leaving bad reviews, because I look for the good in every dining experience I have, but this was just so utterly disappointing.
The spider was only in 1/3rd of the cup.
The steak roll was dry and tough and flavourless. Like something you’d find at a cheap Bunnings style gold coin donation.
The kids bun was hard and the meat was chewy. The chips weren’t cooked all the way through and barley had any salt on them.
I dont understand where the rave reviews are coming from. Perhaps it’s the people with fond memories of the past, which is great, but for us $80 for 2 adults and a child for something that we couldn’t finish due to it being inedible, is just not something worth going back to.
I know my review won’t actually make a difference to a business that’s been running this long, but I don’t recommend this to anyone.
These burgers were recommended, OMG. No these are over priced rubbish, all I could taste on this burger was the relish or whatever it was. On what planet do you have to pay Extra for cheese on a hamburger with the lot! Never ever would I pay to eat one of these again.
Homemade Hamburgers the way they are meant to be. Loaded up with beef, egg, bacon and onion. The buns were fresh and the whole burger went down a treat. The chips were also amazing. Hot and fresh/crispy. Will definitely be back!
I had a hamburger with the lot and it was quite tasty but in saying that $15 for a meat pattie, egg, bacon, tomato and sauce.if you want extras like lettuce, beetroot and the rest that's extra.advertising as "with the lot". Really? Lot". Really? Dissapointing to be honest
The best! If you can handle a little heat, the Chilli Calabrese is an absolute game changer. Thanks guys for your never ending friendly service and the best tasting burger I've ever had. Keep up the good work!
Best chilli burger ever, am a very happy return customer. I now live 3 hours away and am happy to go for a drive just for a burger
