6Great spot for a walk, light gym and kid's play ground. Only if the dog owners are more responsible.
Today I went to keon park skatepark. The skatepark was empty because it was a Friday and there were not many people around. The half pipe has 2 sizes. I am an intermediate rider so I was able to go in on the smaller one. The halfpipe is great fun for people who can do it. The other section of the park is pretty bland with a few rails and an A frame which was actually pretty fun. The reason it's only a 4 star is because they could have put a bit more variety in there to make it more fun. But overall I would go again.
Kids and parents like ants climbing all over it like it was a jungle gym. There was one parent trying to get his kids to look out for others using the skate park but they didn't listen to him. Good on him for trying though.
Spacious and accessible for children of all ages. It's also safe as you're in the open and next to a major road. Lots of green space and plenty of shaded areas for relaxation away from the sun.
Park is awesome since the upgrade fun to from the mini ramp and blast off the little A-frame!
Half pipe for those more adventurous. New rails added on that present a challenge. Council could have done more compared to other skate parks. Basketball hoops always a winner. Lots of seating.
