Kensington Healthcare

Our family of 4 have been cared for by the wonderful doctors and staff at Kensington Healthcare since our eldest child (now 17) was in kinder. They also cared for my elderly parents during the pandemic, who felt very welcome and supported when their own GP was not available. We are so fortunate to have found a community-based general practice that has provided our family with continuous care and support over many years.

Dr Sharma mannerisms was always passive aggressive and refused to to fill out paperwork and make a referral to the Women’ s Hospital on multiple appointments. She said she thinks I have endometriosis but refused to do anything about investigation even though I stated on multiple appointments I was suffering with an extreme amount of pain. The Dr said the only cure is to have a baby!
I ended up going to a different medical centre and got surgery to relieve the pain.

Had an horrible experience with Dr Sharma, she didn’t even bother to do what i requested and got angry at me for my pronunciation since english isn’t my first language. Towards the end of the session she just opened the door and sat on her chair and didn’t even bother to say goodbye. Will never be seeing her again!

I’m reluctant to write a review for a medical clinic but finding a good GP is priceless, and these days getting even more difficult. Dr Sharma is genuine, empathetic and professional. I have been most impressed on both occasions I have seen her. I felt heard and like nothing was too much trouble

Booked online, attended the appointment on the day. Receptionist advised someone phoned me to cancel. Never received a phone call. Receptionist rebooked with me for the following week. Attended appointment again, she advised again someone phoned me about not taking new patients. Never received any phone calls or texts. She couldn't provide details of the phone call was made, who or when.
So visited twice with no appointment. Received some attitude from the receptionist.
A bit of a time wasting exercise.

Excellent customer service. Dr Luan Tran, a doctor who truly cares for his clients and their extended families. The receptionist staff are always willing to accommodate the needs of the patient. This service has replaced our previous commitment to and respect for what is currently the local public health care service.

Being in healthcare myself, I always struggled to find a GP I felt comfortable with and confident in. Kensington is so lucky to have Dr Sharma and Dr Luan Tran. They are caring, compassionate, professional and knowledgable. My whole family has been seeing them for nearly 10 years! We also love the wonderful admin staff and nurses. A fantastic clinic.

Receptionist at this clinic were rude and unprofessional, don’t wish to be spoken to in a condescending manner in regards to my own health.

Terrible experience taking a vulnerable child for a check up this morning. The care factor of the GP was at an all time low. Couldn’t be bothered and the excuse was that it is a Saturday. Instead palmed us off to an ED department where guess what it is also Saturday but at least we got a head to toe assessment and some actual medical care. Despite not actually needing to present to ED. Terrible GP care.

Terrible clinic at admin and managing important documents. I had to call twice because my covid vaccination has not been processed to my Medicare even though it was done in September. Called earlier today and I would still have to wait even longer for a response

The only plus side is Dr. Nyugen for his helpfulness.

I had an appointment at Kensington Healthcare this afternoon. I was there 5-10 minutes early and they called me in before my appointment time which is great as at my usual drs they’re always at least 10 mins late. Dr Thien Tran was so friendly and professional. I’m thinking about making this my regular Drs now!

I had my first consult with Dr. Austin Nguyen yesterday and was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He was great with my two young children also. I highly recommend him as your/your family's GP.

Super happy with my experience at Kensington HealthCare today. Reception was very friendly and helpful (even though they were clearly quite busy). Everyone was running on-time.
I saw Dr Austin Nguyen who did an excellent job of reassuring me of my concerns, gave me an injection I genuinely didn't feel at all and at no point did I feel rushed or uneasy. Very impressed!

Dr Sharma has been incredibly helpful, from physio referrals, checking skin and referring to a dermatologist to mental health as well. She has a quiet manner but is always listening

Dr. Tran was lovely when I saw him in the past but I received a reference to another practitioner from Dr. Sharma to someone who had been retired for 4 years, pretty frustrating.

A vet would have provided far better medical attention and bedside manner than Dr. Luan Trans negligent 'care'. I was initially surprised to find an appointment so fast when other MDs in the area weren't even taking new patients. Now it makes perfect sense. Nobody comes back. Don't go here, really.

Dr Tran is amazing and caring. I would give him a five star BUT Do not bother to go the other Dr. Can't remember her name. Waste of money and she just sat staring at her computer while I was speaking, the whole appointment took 5 mins, where she didnt offer any help, advice, suggestions, compassion.nothing.
The pharmacist I saw after assisted and treated me better than that Dr. Had to make another appointment right away to get the right help.

I would give Dr Tran a zero star if that was an option. Could not believe how rude and unhelpful he was when I consulted him. The worst GP i have ever been to.

Their website is misleading people. It's NOT bulk billing while it says so in bold on their website. They bulk bill only if you have concession on top of Medicare. Very dissatisfied and disappointing experience. Had to leave there cheated while being extremely sick. Stay away like plague.

I see a lot of positive reviews, they must be for Dr Tran.
The reception staff are excellent.
Dr Sharma nearly cost me my life, in the 2 years I have been going to her she never once physically examined me, ever!

My mother is now looking for a new doctor.
I do not recommend Dr Sharma.
