Kennards Hire Narre Warren

I hired a trailer to move house on the weekend. First time at any Kennards store. The staff at Kennards Narre Warrren were so helpful and very friendly. They helped me put the trailer on, test the lights, and when I returned took the trailer off my car for me. I could have done it myself, but the team went out of their way to look after me. The service from 2 different staff members was outstanding. I left thinking wow, the next time I’m looking to hire anything, I’ll be straight back to Kennards, they’re fantastic.

We hired a 100mm chipper for a day to make mulch out of 5 trees that we cut. We struggled from the start as we adjusted ourselves to use the machine - it did not work similarly to what we saw on YouTube - but in the end we were successful, the machine had been working for hours non-stop and we were able to complete a task.

I booked a concrete mixer for 3 days, day 3 got cancelled last minute. Luckily I called first thing on day 3 and Vanessa very kindly refunded the last day for us. Considering how last minute the cancellation was, we were very impressed with Vanessa's customer service!

Needed to hire a trencher at short notice, staff couldn't have been more helpful, they made it easy.

Had a great experience leasing a moving truck from this mob. A customer service person helped me find a truck at the Narre Warren branch. The truck was in excellent condition and the staff were very reasonable even though I forgot to return an item. Would highly recommend them. Very professional.

Online order pick up and drop off was easy. 5 stars for that. The Chipper we hired and picked up was not working as expected. Once inspected the chute was blocked and the blades chipped and blunt. After removal of blades and sharpened and after unclogging chute - she worked fine. Pretty sure not everyone would be capable or have the equipment on hand to rectify this situation onsite. Equipment should have been verified as fit for purpose and use before hiring out to users.

Kennards don’t just hire out tools or machinery. They try to find out what you need done, and help you get the right tool to get job done. The staff are expert- and they are always helpful and accommodating.

Hired a plate compactor for a DIY. Great customer service, I highly recommend. The guy over the phone was very helpful in explaining the process and answered my questions without rushing. The drive collect was an easy process and the guy showed me how to operate it. My flat mate and I were able to lift it out of the car into wheelbarrow when we got home. Thanks guys
