Kelly's Bakery reviews
59 Cosy and very well presented, the staff are very friendly, amazing customer service and very quick. Chocked full of locals so you know this is the place to eat.
Coffees are good, chicken salad rolls were excellent and fresh.
I would definitely visit here again
Quick coffee stop to Wilsons Prom. I personally prefer my coffee a little stronger, but I received a lovely service from two lovely ladies.
I love the sausage rolls and they are much less expensive than other Bakeries. I had a sneaky Vanilla Slice that was yummy too! Only downside is trying to find a parking spot.
We had coffee and sausage rolls, and they were excellent. I will go again. Very popular, parking was average.
Excellent country bakery conveniently situated right next to the rail trail and public toilets. Loads of pie options for under $6. Would recommend the mushroom or steak and pepper pies. Coffee was very good.
Lots of other hot food and sandwich options, including traditional sweet slices.
Ample seating inside and out with dedicated parking makes this our fave food stop in the Burra.
Inexpensive food and good service.
Pie and sausage rolls were great, as was the French vanilla slice.
Kelly's Bakery and cafe just as good as always with there happy and smiley staff give them all 10
Stopped here for a late lunch on a Sunday. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out. Good selection of hot food, pies, pastries, sandwiches plus a breakfast and lunch menu.
Big tick for us was the colouring sheets and pots of pencils by the door. Always love places that go that extra step in welcoming children.
Everything we are was yummy, custard tart pastry was a little thick.
There are also toilets here.
Food is okay. Service is well below par. Order 6 snitzel burgers. Told 10 to 15 minutes. Took 45 minutes. Another customer who ordered after us, received their snitzel burger before ours. Front of house staff walking around amiously. Love supporting local businesses, but as a regular out of towner, we won't be back.
Staff served us cheerfully right on closing time. Salad rolls sandwiches & coffee scrolls excellent. Coffee really nice too
A fantastic spot to stop and break the trip! Public toilets in the carpark and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
One of the best Bakeries you could visit whether you dine in or take away. Sadly no pulled pork pies for a while, but all the others are excellent also.
Fantastic.honestly cannot put enough stars!
came in here with my wife and godson for some lunch, and it was perfect from first to last bite!
thank you for making the experience for our godson special
Great bakery always go here and buy their fantastic pies and salad rolls great staff very friendly food is very tasty
Stopped in on the way past, wow the vanilla slice was amazing and the spinach feta pastie was great!
Shame thou don't bake more it was 130pm
Was so looking to there great food but was very little to choose from
But to be fair I should have pre phoned as it was a group of 12 Riders that might have helped your situation
Always enjoyed our past dining experiences cheers
They can't take an order correctly 3 days in a row now they have made me the wrong sandwich and talk about slow gee I'm sorry but it's the truth I'd rather go to the IGA and get the stuff to make my own not impressed
A beautiful cafe in a small town, their pies, doughnut and spiced chai latte is spot on. Beautiful, will reco
Nice bakery with a selection of savory pies etc and sweets. But I was disappointed with the thick shake - I'd skip it.
My first visit to Kelly's Bakery was last Wednesday, returning from a holiday.
The croissants were perfect, but the coffee was not hot enough. The bakery had a nice vibe, with people seeming to enjoy themselves, and most staff giving the appearance that they were happy to be at work.
I would have given five stars if I hadn't the misfortunate of being served by Patricia (name advised by the barista), who spoke so quickly and seemed very stressed. No friendly welcome or tone throughout.
Also, I asked for two croissants, dependant on the price and she returned from the kitchen with both already bagged and ready for sale. Her curt manner was dismissive, and I later noticed her speaking to other customers in the same way.
Staff with her people skills should be relegated to tasks which don't necessitate contact with customers.
