Kellybrook Winery reviews
47Very pleasant sitting under the veranda edged in shady grape vines.and the Ancient Oak tree in the
Little hidden gem! Great ciders and wines to relax in a nice area. Friendly staff and a very relaxing atmosphere.
A great winery that very accessible from Melbourne. They have reasonably good wines; a little pricy but a good tipple. The cider is worth a try and the take away price is not to bad. The food is simple but a high quality; perfect for a glass or two. Great setting; make the trip!
There's nothing better than a bottle of wine & a cheese platter in the gardens at Kellybrook, but in lockdown a wine & cheese hamper delivered to home is the next best thing!
Lovely hampers of cheese and bread with a great selection of wine to try. Our dog was allowed to join us outside too which was great. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, and there's lovely gardens out the back, with a great seating area under a huge tree for larger groups. Ample car park spaces and definitely worth a visit!
Lovely sitting by the fire drinking selected top quality wines with our very own picnic of cheese and local products.
A lovely way to spend a post-lockdown Sunday afternoon, sampling some excellent wines and apple brandy.
We'll be back!
Great communication as OpenTable had booked the wrong time. Wines were great and would defs recommend the Willowlake Pinot Noir. Extensive selection of foods as well. Great afternoon spent with some live music!
My partner and I have visited this amazing place for the first time and we were so glad we did. The option of sitting on the deck or garden is unreal. Also we were greeted by Bernie the dog, what a legend.
Kellybrook Winery is a rare gem in the outer eastern suburbs. Their wines are incredible! (The estate Pinot noir and the gewurtztraminer being my favourites!) but above all that the hospitality and the customer service from Jenny and the rest of the team is second to none! In a regular non-pandemic year they also run the Cider Festival in May which is always a yearly scrumpy-licious highlight, and during the pandemic they have bent over backwards to deliver their beautiful wines and Yarra valley cheeses which are normally available at their cellar door, straight to our door! For an epic winery visit not too far from the suburbs, you cannot go past Kellybrook! ️
Stopped in with some friends for a taste of all the winery's great products.
The bar person as well as being quite welcoming has was also very knowledgeable and passionate about the various alcoholic beverages. He was able to find the perfect beverage for each of the members of our group.
Fantastic place! Came here on a rainy day and really enjoyed our self's. Staff was so nice and answered all our questions
I have never been any winery were 1 person works.pick your platter food an have to set it up yourself. Never going back horrible experience.
Another great winery off the beaten path. Although tucked away it is worth the trip. They are one of the oldest wineries in the Valley and it shows the quality of their wines. They also make great beer and cider. Mike was very informative and friendly and his knowledge of winemaking and brewing got us talking loo omg after the tasting finished. A true gem of the Yarra Valley and a must see if you're visiting.
Today we celebrated our daughter and son in law's special day, at Kelllybrook. The staff were exceptional and Michael worked so hard to make it a day to remember for our families. The wine and cider were delicious and added to the occasion. Our thanks and regards to you all
Love this quaint little winery, the wines are seriously good and the quality is well above it wait. The food is limited but very nice and their Ciders aren't to be over looked as well.
Amazing oak tree, amazing garden, great story telling, Shame about the pricing structure. It was clear as mud and we all left with that ‘been fleeced’ feeling.
After a very very long association with this place they are now on my black list. Came in to taste some wines and buy a number of things and had to fight my way through a mob of people drinking outside the tasting area. A couple of buses were there, although not full buses, there was a throng. At the tasting bar about 6 people were being attended to but when we went to the side we were told essentially to p.s off they were too busy. When I turned heel and walked out the lady said to my wife she could have offered recommendations. I do not want that I wanted to taste some wines and make up my own mind. Been a customer since they were essentially only a cidery and my daughter was married and had her reception there. Sorry folks that is not how to win friends or keep customers.
Had a very solid dinner here a few months back. Wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly, food service is prompt and efficient (ie, no unnecessary hovering) and the wines are first rate. Apple brandy - wonderful.
Lovely little winery, highly recommended. Check out the gorgeous old oak, a favourite for weddings. Check opening times first.
