At first I was a little hesitant about the idea of having a stranger at the birth of our twins. One of the most intimate moments of my life exposed to someone I only just met but my prudish fears and apprehension was put to rest the minute I met Kelly! She is such a warm and genuine person that I instantly felt as if I had known her for years. In the last month of my pregnancy Kelly would check in on me all the time to see how the babies were cooking and making sure she was updated and ready for the call. I made it to planned c-section date and Kelly was there bright and early as a familiar comforting face. My husband and I didn't even notice Kelly in the room, she was literally "a fly on the wall". When I look back at the photos I can't believe how much of the moment I hadn't registered. There is so much emotion and adrenaline that you realise a lot of the small details and expressions are missed- these photos will be treasured forever and I can't thank Kelly enough for freezing one of the happiest moments of my life in time for me to cherish forever.
