First time visiting here for dinner.
Great atmosphere and ambience.
The old and new of this building is charming with alot of character.

Kiddy friendly with alot of parking.

I will be back.

I love this place, the staff are so friendly, the food is amazing, the whole experience is awesome.

Great hotel and bistro! We were lucky enough to get a table of three for walk-in outside of it almost being completely booked out for Christmas events and bookings. Good bar and a massive selection of frothy drops to get you through. The menu is pretty standard for a bistro and all the classics and more are on it, albeit a little pricier than others establishments. Meals came very quickly and for a $39 dollar salmon, it was not disappointing. Great size and delicious! Parking fills up quick but enough parking over the road and surrounds. Atmosphere copped 5 stars as well; close call for 4 stars however I'm sure the clown in the VX Clubsport had his car impounded after he left (clearly Summernats season) and the three or four young girls who all had a sip of a light beer got banned from sounding louder than a gunshot next to your face.

Went there for a Christmas Party gathering today. Beautiful food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere with the gathering of friends around.

I am not commenting on the pub itself. I went to a function recently with a large group and the room could have easily accommodated twice our number.

I think we got a very good deal. For $50 per head, we received beer/wine/soft drink/coffee for a few hours with plenty of food.

I also attended a car show in the grounds a few years ago and everything appeared to run smoothly.

Definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Our "go to" place when we want a night out.

Very grim atmosphere, dark, sloppy looking. Food was not great, we left without eating most of it. My second time there, first time was not much better. Will never eat there again. Look elsewhere for food unless you don't care what you eat. Yuk.

Food was ok. Spaghetti seafood dish mainly spaghetti. Forced to order everything via 'table service'. Refused to split bill at payment. Have come here over past 30 years and tonight is the last time. Prices charged do not equate to service provided.

Everytime that I have been there and ordered separately, we can't pay separately. Why can't we?

Was there for a function in the tasting room. Lovely atmosphere with colonial style settings. Loads of car parking. Nice staff. Looks very popular. Worth a visit.

An amazing looking pub. You feel like you have stepped back in time. The meals were nice but not being able to split a bill and their preference of ordering online lost it a couple of stars due to the problem it caused a couple of people on our table. It changed the mood immediately. Not everyone is tech savvy and I really felt for an elderly couple nearby who were clearly stressed by it all.

The dessert was delicious. I had the rhubarb and apple crumble yum! But they closed off the Coffee machine in the bistro and try to push you into gaming for a coffee.

Been going here for many years and you can count on the old Keilor Hotel to provide a hearty meal with a warm, old fashioned vibe in the depths of winter - this place has been pretty consistent in that regard. Parmas are great.

Good service and food. Only criticism is choice of menu.burgers, chicken Snitzels and one or other standard items, - nothing to go back for though. Setting is great.

I love this place iv been coming here for the last 25 years never had a bad meal the service is amazing the atmosphere and cosy fire would have to be my favorite thing about this place

Bad service! Honestly food was good but there was 10 of us but 2 orders took 1.5hrs to come and 1 didn't after asking twice but the third time my mate just cancelled his order and got his money refunded went home hungry and angry!

Novel pub on the inside focussing on local history. Though food and service temper the experience. Forgetting about coffee orders messed up the enjoyment of dessert and the end of a meal with old friends not seen in a long time.

Delicious well-presented extremely well cooked meal that was expertly served by the staff in the wonderful surround with an open fireplace grate location
