Kebabsta is not your usual kebab shop. Nesh (the owner) has built a wonderful community that is a home away from home with fantastic food to match.

My family spend a lot of time here, enjoying the amazing authentic and delicious food and the community Nesh and his father have built on Yarra Lane. Well worth exploring off the beaten path of Chapel St.

Stopped by for a late lunch after a work meeting. Had the lamb gozleme, which was served with a generous amount of both garlic and chilli sauces on the side. Delicious and piping hot, and the bread was soft and fresh. I’ll be back for sure!

The service was something you don’t get these days.it was the best service I have ever had. The owner was very welcoming and gave me a few extra things free of charge. I will not be going anywhere else but this place if I want a late night kebab. Thank you to the owner very much

Walked in late at night for a little snack. At first I thought I walked into the wrong store, it looked nothing like a "traditional" kebab place. It has a relaxing and cosy cafe vibe. I was greeted by some lovely people who were super friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable!

Given their extremely friendly nature, rather than ordering takeaway, my partner and I ordered a kebab plate and chips to eat in. The kebab plate was amazing! The presentation was next level and the taste even better. One of the staff said he had been perfecting his chips method and WOW was he right! Right crunchy texture and seasoned extremely well. We also got recommended the home made baklava and it too was fantastic.

Definitely visiting again. Next time I go, will take photos to add to this review

Ordered a mixed HSP snack pack with Holy Trinity for my sauces selection to go on top of my snack pack. Fast service received my order in less than 10 minutes. I even received a free bonus Soft Drink compliments of the staff. Will definitely be back and maybe try one of their kebabs next time. Thanks guys.

There is a lot to be said about this place. I’d say the highlight is owner Nesh (hopefully I spelled it correctly) he is amazing very hospitable and when he serves you, you know that this place and it’s food are things he is very passionate about. Aside from the amazing owner everyone else working there also has great charm and always greets you with a smile. The food is fantastic and the prices are amazing. The 15 dollar kebab chips and can student deal is unreal. Since moving to south Yarra in a building near them I’ve visited this place many times and have never ever been slightly disappointed. Always great and as long as Nesh keeps up his amazing attitude I don’t see it going any other way. I’m currently writing this overdue review while eating a super delicious kebab plate. Cheers

Absolutely love Kebabsta, by far the best place to eat in South Yarra - it's too good for the suburb! I regularly order falafel kebabs and falafel HSPs - the vegetarian food here is to die for and very reasonably priced! The workers and the owner here are also delightful and it's a pleasure to enter the store! Thank you kebabsta!

Great little place tucked away behind South Yarra train station.
Great atmosphere with plenty of locals stopping in on their way home from work.
Family run business with lots of smiles and laughs.
Grilled Salad bowl was really filling with plenty of Salad and grilled meat, full of flavour.
My wife had what she said was the best Gozleme she's had.
Seating indoors and outside under cover.
Real Turkish by Turkish.
Filling fresh meal for around $20.

I love the food - flavour-wise is perfect, great seasoning, freshly made. The owner is very generous, kind and enthusiastic with the food and the way they treat the customer.

Real lamb meat with beautyy chips. Best kebab shop in Melbourne. And the baklava is on another level. Should try everything when come here.

The chicken kebab and HSP were delicious, the people are super friendly. One of the best customer service experiences I've had.

We had mixed kebabs. They were great. The flat bread was beautiful and soft with great fresh ingredients. The chips were absolutely perfect. The gentleman who served us was amazing and so kind! He made our day, after an exhausting day walking around the aus open. Thankyou!

The kebab platter was fantastic. Delicious homemade bread, punchy sauces and tender, well seasoned meat. The staff are friendly and passionate, great experience all around.

Honestly, one of if not the best kebab places that I've tried in Melbourne. The food is fresh and their homemade Turkish bread is to die for. The owner is extremely friendly as well.

Decided to try out this place on a random Tuesday night after reading all the high reviews… and discovered that this place really deserves its ratings! A true hidden gem in South Yarra with super fresh, flavourful ingredients and a super hospitable owner. Initially I didn’t really have much expectations beyond a standard ‘kebab’ or hsp joint and yet, what I had here is so much more than that

I had the Kavurma which is this sautéed meat dish with rice and bread … and let me tell you, it was bloody delicious! The bread was super fluffy and soft, not the slightest bit stale like many other kebab places, the rice was really soft and fragrant (not mushy nor too hard), and the sautéed meat and capsicum were high quality and almost ‘healthy tasting’ (as it wasn’t dripping with grease and sauce).

I also tried their homemade baklava (made with love 2 hours ago!) which was not too sweet and the perfect amount of fragrant (I think rose water or orange blossom water).

Overall a very happy customer and was lovely being treated with smiles and friendliness! Definitely returning
