Kathmandu Uni Hill Outlet reviews
26Thank you to the young lady and the tall guy that helped me out today, the young lady was great help especially
Great friendly service by the guy at the counter. Happy with my purchase and the price paid.
Pretty good, range, service and pricing. However, It seems the lowest pricing was not displayed, and you had to ask.
2 stars for pricing and quality of the products. Understaffed and 2 male staff just chit chatting while customers waiting to be served.
A few weeks ago, I visited the store and was puzzled by its perpetual understaffing. There was just one guy on the counter, frantically assisting customers. I genuinely felt sorry for him. Meanwhile, the older lady accompanying him seemed more interested in tidying up the back of the store rather than attending to customers. It's disheartening to see this place becoming a source of amusement, as they never seem to have anything in stock. Clearly, this store suffers from severe mismanagement. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is due to the exceptional service provided by that gentleman.
I expected much better prices than the city, considering it's supposedly a direct factory outlet.
This is supposed to be a top end label for it's speciality. However, my latest visit to the uni hill branch made me turn, walk out and check if I'd gone in the correct store. I thought I'd mistakenly gone into rivers. The products were a wash of yellow and orange rejects from other stores. It appears it's a dumping ground for all unwanted stock from Melbourne's other stores. With that in mind, it's only a matter of time before uni hill Kathmandu is permanently closed. Nobody will shop there. Such a shame. It used to be fantastic!
Staff seems to be helpful when we were in store. 4 different prices on tags and we got charge for second lowest one. Came home, open to check and find out product is unusable. One of the lines was snapped. Be sure to erect tents in store to check so it won't mess up your plan.
A big thanks to the young lady who provided me with excellent service and advice on Wednesday morning 10th November.
I was first into the store at opening time.
Keep up your terrific attitude.
Thanks again.

The staff at this store are extremely friendly and do their best to help customers to make the right purchases. I went to buy hiking boots apart from other items. I am so glad I went there as they helped me to get the right boots for fit etc. So patient and helpful. Other retailers should try and follow the example for customer service from these staff. Thank you.
Love Kathmandu. Good products but way over priced. Bought mum a mothers day gift. Size was incorrect but they were happy to exchange it. Friendly staff.
Gentleman went out of his way to find my Salomon boots. Thank you sir. Christie? Organised a second pair for me from another store. Kept me updated at all times. Rang me when the boots arrived. She greeted me with a hello Michael when I went to pick up the boots. None of the fake can I help you or next as you get in most stores nowadays. She went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. Thank you. The boots are great. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this store. Wow
I think that was the store manager there I was greeted with and assisted with answering all my questions about just a mask they sell in store. His super customer service, friendlessness and product knowledge are just rare seen and I was lucky to be assisted by him, for buying just one mask! Thankyou and appreciated your help!
I went to this store on Sunday. Young female assistant was so helpful and friendly. Great suggestions. Honest feedback. Really good service. Will go again. Thanks.
The sales person took the time to ensure what I was buying was right for me. Very polite and respectful
Me and my wife were served by LAHNI and were given exceptional service, she was quick and had great product knowledge and we left very satisfied with our time in the store. We have recommended your store to many family and friends purely based on the way she treated us when we went to shop there last weekend. Please pass along the feedback, as she is an asset to your store.
THANK YOU LAHNI
Great range of coats etc but even during sales I find them to be quite expensive. And as far as staff managing customer numbers and making it easier to social distance, based on store layout etc it's virtually non existent and impossible.
The gentlemen working here need to learn to some customer service starting from the manager. The female assistant was wonderful. Make her the manager and give the other 2 the boot.
Good range of stuff. But check prices before buying as not everything is cheaper. Not just at Kathmandu but at most stores. Some stuff is much much cheaper on sale in Kathmandus online store. We just bought 2 puffer jackets, $350/EACH, for $250 for 2!
It's a mess, and Kathmandu have jumped the shark with a lot of their stuff, but it's cheap and sometimes you can find something that isn't badly designed and ugly. Try your luck!
