Kathmandu Richmond

I heard they often talk about customers behind their backs.
They said some shoes don't offer discount and have no size. But when I came to the store again in the same day. They said the same shoes have discount and have the size. So confused!
They can see that customers are waiting but can't even be bothered letting customers know they are there, or acknowledging customers. Bad experience from the staff.

A large store with a complete range of stock. There is ample parking at the back of the store. The staff as usual are very helpful

Commonly hard to find such a great service and attitude within the staff of a franchise regardless its name.
Highly professional, resolutive, and positive.

A Kathmandu Store with a wide range, possibly better than what I've seen at most other stores, they also have a stock room and the staff go out of their way to find you your size as long as it reflects in their inventory.

Super helpful staff who go out of their way, the customer service was exceptional, and although other reviewers would complain about the lack of service, it is a BUSY store especially during weekends and promotional periods so a bit of patience and courtesy is definitely the best way to have the staff give you their best, which they would anyways. A special thanks to Kester and his team - all very helpful and attentive to all customer needs at a busy store, well done.

I have been here for click and collect. The service was hassle-free and quick. There is a space for parking in front of the shop, in case it's available it's also available in the back street. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not that busy store. Stock is available and revised.

This is a supersized storevon Bridge road. Well stock with all you winter, hiking and camping needs. Staff are very friendly and supet helpful.
Thoroughly recommended.

Only 2 staff on a busy Saturday. They can see that customers are waiting but can't even be bothered making eye contact, acknowledging customers or at least letting them know that they'll be with you. Don't bother with this place

Staff were wonderful and patient as l went through an array of clothing. Many l am now wearing and taking on an extensive camping trip.

Great selection on a big bargain sale. Easy to park around Bridge Road. I'll go back and check in every now and then!

The guy who attended me was eager to provide an outstanding service even though I couldn't find a replacement jacket. He provided me other options as well as other Kathmandu stores near by that have the item I was looking for.

Quite a big showroom. Have all the things from jackets to shoes to tent equipments. Staff is quite friendly and helpful to get your desired stuff. Would suggest to buy only during some sale / markdown period though as the original price is too high.

Like it a lot and all my jackets are from there but only when it is on sale because it is realllly $$$$$

I had a pair of Kathmandu Barrigan hiking boots which were 7 years old and the glue holding the sole on had failed at the heal and toe. I was disappointed because I had not used them very many times, despite their age.

I was very happy with the service I received from Cory in the Richmond store. He was able to take back the defective boots and give me discount on a brand new pair of Kathmandu Tiber hiking boots.

I recommend anyone looking for outdoor wear visit Kathmandu in Richmond. Kathmandu a great Australian retail brand and they stand behind the products they sell. Thank again Cory.

Friendly and helpful customer service at lunch time today at Kathmandu Richmond. Needed to exchange a sleeping mat (was gifted a thin one, but wanted to swap to a thicker, comfier one). Was shown and explained the different options, and it was on sale, too! Bonus.

It's a great Kathmandu, good layout, clearance section, enough room for the to display tents, etc. Parking can be a challenge, but there is ticketed parking out front (free on Sunday).

Have always found I received excellent and helpful customer service in this branch of Kathmandu. The store is spacious and normally well stocked.

Very condescending staff here, and given that Kathmandu doesn't have the best quality, you're better off going across to Mountain Design which is just across the road.
