Thank you too, Rua. On october 28th for great customer service, he went out and above to help us with their partner store, on longsdale. He was checking for some stock we wanted. But we changed our minds, and we ended up going for some bright coloured jackets from this store, which is what i wanted instead of anything dark and boring. We are tavelling from Perth and have enjoyed some courteous manners while we are here. It's good to hear it from other parts of Australia too. Just like home also we had been to Kathmandu on Spencer a day before. I highly recommend both staff on Bourke and Spencer. Thank you for making our time in Melbourne pleasant. RUA-at Burke St and SAAWAN- at Spencer St.

I ordered a $299 bag online and picked up from here via click and collect - obviously expected to be given new and sealed item but on the way home I noticed I was given was pretty grubby floor stock or a customer return rather than a new item as ordered. Not cool on many levels.

Update: they were able to swap this over for another bag which felt a little newer but this one also had dirt/dust under the straps in places that wouldn’t have amassed just from sitting on the storefront shelves. Not sure what to conclude from this but I guess if you want products that haven’t been handled or potentially aren’t customer returns then don’t use Click & Collect from a physical store. I am not usually this picky about products that will eventually get banged up but they just didn’t feel like new stock to me at all.

Great sustainability initiatives from Kathmandu – Kathman-redu! It should be available in more stores and online.

I am a big fan of this particular brand. Its the best thing to wear in winter. Which fits in most of the occasions.

Just got a luggage scale from these guys.

It was faulty, with an extreme minute screw to unplug the battery every time i use.
Anyways i took the pains once and twice to do that, but still it was going on low battery.

Reached out to them, the staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate. According go the lady each time I should do that, i wish i could ask her to unplug her phones or Ipads battery if she was not using it. I travel quite often and its not worth the pains.

Great store, would have given it five stars except it's a bit too expensive for me, and alot of people! Great variety of clothes, especially jackets, which they have plenty of, and so many I would have loved to have bought, but again, just too dear for me!

A large store and friendly staffs with 2 levels, which is bigger than a usual Kathmandu store in Melbourne. Check out the storewide 40% discount in July.

Exceptional quality of clothing and usually excellent customer service, thats why I keep returning to the store, but my reason for the 4 stars is because of poor customer service behaviour today.

I attended the Kathmandu store at 385 Bourke st Melbourne on the 2/5/22 at 11: 30am. I entered the ground floor store and was looking at jackets in the mens section.
I tried a jacket on and then left it on top of the other jackets still on the coat hanger and I was a few feet away looking at something else.

When a male store employee approached the jacket and began to put it away,
I immediately approached the male employee and I told him, I was going to buy that jacket, he then just shoved the jacket and coat hanger forcefully into me and walked away.

He appeared to be rather moody and aggressive for some reason?
I approached another male employee and asked him who the manager was at the store? Because I wanted to speak to someone, in relation to this incident and he directed me upstairs.

I then approached another male upstairs, who told me his name was Max and I explained the incident to him.
He didn't seem interested, not even bothering to ask who this male employee staff member was that I was referring to?
He just brushed it off and said that, he'd look into it and didn't even apologise?

Its a shame that this incident occurred, because usually the level of customer service is excellent at Kathmandu, but this particular incident was a let down.
I'm giving my feedback because I'm a paying and returning customer to that store and don't deserve to be treated disrespectfully, by any of the employees that work there.

Terrible customer service at this store. The kind of service that completely discourages you to come back to the store.

I love Kathmandu and over the years have purchased quite a lot of hiking outwear and boots from various Kathmandu outlets including this store which is conveniently located, close to Bourke Street Mall and Flinders Street station. This store carries a big range and the staff here is super knowledgeable and always friendly and helpful.

Great store with an upstairs area which allows for lots of stock to be displayed. Customer service was also helpful. Will definitely return to shop here again.

Great knowledgeable and friendly staff. Even though I didn’t buy a jacket, I sure as hell learned a lot! Very motivated and energetic staff that takes pride in what they do. Always a good experience at this shop.

Managed by very friendly and helpful staff, offering range of products and services.

Spread across two floors, they offer range of clothing, shoes and accessories across different age groups.

One of the best Kathmandu stores.

If you are thinking to purchase Kathmandu products online, then you should rethink very carefully because their company put customers in a very vulnerable position when any problems appeared
Long story in short I purchased two jackets from Kathmandu and shipped to Taiwan, after waited for two weeks, Kathmandu said they couldn’t allocate the shipment so they asked me to wait until they figured out where this shipment going. So wait for another few days, they said they couldn’t allocate the parcel nor have same items I purchased in their stocks so they asked me to replace with similar quality products, okay, fine, I accepted and they replaced and finally this shipment been delivered yesterday, which took over 1 month, my mum told me “ why you buy something we have to pay for it for them” I said” what do you mean you pay for it? ” She said “ DHL just charged her $150, when this shipment was delivered “
I couldn’t believe that they charged my parents $150, which almost 40% of the total value of the product. I rang Kathmandu and they said this was some tax surcharge may eventuate when a parcel delivered in a country and this was controlled by them.
After all of this, I could understand that some surcharg may require to release the product from custom but if they could inform me beforehand then I could have paid for this surcharge rather than paid by my parents, which was pretty bad impression

In the end, after all of this, Kathmandu only used one link and told me that cannot responsible for this cost but wouldn’t mind to give us the $30 voucher? !? !? !?
Very very bad impression from Kathmandu
