Purchased a vest using click and collect. Whist the ordering process was simple and seamless, the same cannot be said for picking up from the Camberwell store. No one at the door. No answer when knocking. The phone rings out. This ended up being far too complicated and should have been simple.

Took my time to choose my hiking shoes. Staff was patient and kind to help me find the perfect pair of shoes.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was looking at shoes for over 5 minutes whilst two staff members were chatting at the counter behind me. Not one of them welcomed me or asked if I needed assistance despite me picking up multiple shoes. With staff like this it’s no wonder the retail industry in Australia is disappearing.

Nicely set out the store with easy navigation of different items. Helpful staff that have a reasonable knowledge of items (depends on who you speak with). Overall a pretty good experience.

I needed help due to being hearing disabled. Discreetly told staff on 3 separate visits. They were outstanding in helping me every time. Shopping can be overwhelming when disabled. This store were exemplary in their willingness to help me without making a big deal. Won't bother with any other outdoor retailers from now on. And.they had everything I was looking for too.

Kathmandu has a great layout and a huge variety of clothing. I was clearly looking around and checking labels, but not one person came to ask if I needed any help. Two staff members were chatting amongst themselves but made no effort to assist me.
I walked out.

Good place to buy outdoor and travel wear. Shopping on specials is essential for good value. Friendly helpful staff.

Went in today to buy some hiking boots found a nice pair and a good price. Went to get some help with sizing. There was a large group of people at the counter chatting amongst themselves so I waited. I then saw 2 staff members look right at me and walk away so I waited some more. I then went to the counter and for asked for some help (no one was being served at the time) I was told I would have to wait as she was still serving customers who were too busy chatting amongst themselves to put there items on the counter. I may of mucked up and jumped the queue my mistake but I’m not there to be scolded like a child. Can’t go back won’t go back.

Not a bad range of stuff. Seems to be more Women's clothing compared to men's. Some of the display signage was confusing or non-existent. But other than that, a good store

Top notch customer service at Kathmandu Camberwell! Catriona was so helpful and provided all the information I needed to make a decision about buying the right sleeping bag for my hiking/camping needs. She wasn't the slightest bit pushy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and understanding even when they had to keep the tills open 5 minutes after closing time to put my purchase through. Fantastic help from very knowledgeable staff! 11/10 would recommend. Thanks again folks!

Seem to have every thing in need for a camper. However, the actual landscape of the building is confusing. It is hard to find where certain things are. The brown colour all around gives a negative feeling towards camping. However, the space is huge compared to other camping places in the area. Love the two entrances & the elevator system

Large store with brand name outdoors, travel and camping gear and clothing. Specials offer good value.

We love the quality of merchandise. The only problem is that you often have to find a staff member to assist you.
