Karralyka Centre reviews
39Excellent community arts centre, but seating is cramped and parking, although adequate, is badly signposted. Overall, a good place but not top class.
Security guy at the door was a jerk. Stuck in the dining area where the music was loud enough to leave my ears ringing (kicked out of the slightly quieter corridor for no reason). Stayed in the toilets to wait for my overpriced meal to arrive and left early. If I could give a zero star rating, I would.
Love this place! Great shows always, the staff are most helpful and the food sublime. Highly recommend you support local theatre here.
Got the covid vaccination. For my age and booking I was supposed to get Pfizer, but received Astra zenica! But actually to much red tape and paperwork. Just injection everyone like old army days and keep people walking in one door out of the other.
They could administer 1000 per day.everyone knows the risks already.
Food was fantastic.
I was there for a Conference we we not social distanced at tables and tables very close together.
All the QR code and signing in were done before we entered auditorium.
Once in nothing was different to when we were there before COVID
I have gone tiwce for kids theatre there, boat had bad advertising, sara and duck was very expensive and just a puppet show not really a theatre, another one about dinosaur life.they had written is suitable for kid+5 years but it was not, just 2 guys was telling about dinosaur life from first, it was good for bigger kids, it was really boring for little kids
Seating, sound and other amenities were good. Temperature inside the theatre was higher than we would have liked, so we were grateful for the intermission. Parking is a breeze. Delighted to be able to see live theatre again.
The Karralyka Centre is amazing!
I had my year 6 graduation there and I am amazed at how wonderful the staff are. The toilets are easily accessible and clean. The whole place is neat and tidy. I would recommend going here for a theatre experience or fancy party. There is easily accessible parking out the front. There’s a lovely grassed area out the back for an outdoor party or kids to play. I enjoyed my time there and wold defiantly recommend going there.
Very beautiful auditorium with amazing sound. It's feast for ears to listen to music in such auditorium. Infact my son gave a concert in this venue, for a musician when sound is good they enjoy playing more than usual.
Great place to celebrate and hold a function. A great large space and delicious food. Staff are lovely and provide great service!
The Centre itself is lovely, excellent facilities, but parking is terrible. There were two events on, which left no parking for everyone. Cars were going every which way, and many forced to park on the road outside the venue. If you are attending an event here, get there early!
Nice venue, been here for a couple of different events, could do with a few more toilets as the lines can get pretty ridiculous, but other than that.
Wonderful theatre. Hugh place nice clean toilets, coffee shops, many performances going on same time. A very professional theatre set in a very pleasant bushland enviroment.
The place itself was lovely for the school production but the lady on the phone wasn't so accommodating when I told her that I requested an online ticket but it charged me postage. She was sarcastic about it and said that in the scheme of things, it was only $1 per ticket. This wasn't the point. It was the principle so she didn't need to make me feel bad about it. In the end, she didn't give me the money back even though I got an online ticket.
Seats and foot room quite a bit too short and narrow. I don’t believe these seats are built for anyone over 190cm. Very difficult for people to walk past.
This is a lovely venue for live theatre. Seems to have adequate parking, great access, comfy seats and lovely theatre ambience.
Its a good place for events and all, they have adequate parking and the area is wekl maintained, gardens, trees. Inside, the lighting is not very good for events. I was in an event where all the faces in the stage are not properly lit but they dedicate spotlights for the backdrop.
It's great! Just did a show there. Big green room to hang out backstage. Good facilities. Huge building. Overall 5 stars!
The theatre is not huge but the angle of the seats means that you rarely will have the person in fronts head blocking your view. The sound system is very good. The only sore point is that the seats are not very wide so if you have a larger frame it can be a tight fit, for an hour or 90 minutes that's ok but much longer and you may end up with a saw back.
They have a lot of varied shows so it's always worth checking in for what's coming up.
