Karen Feldman's Dance Studio

Karen genuinely loves what she does and has a passion to teach children and obviously carefully selects or trains her staff to share the same values. It doesn’t matter if her students have natural talent or just want to dance, they are all equally important to her and the no makeup policy means our children get to be exactly that- children doing what they love, shining in the beauty of dance and smiles instead of being hidden behind layers of face paint. I cannot thank Karen enough for transforming my toddler who had to be encouraged to class by holding Karen’s hand each week to walking out on stage at the end of the year and performing in front of an audience without fear. I now have a confident little girl with a passion for ballet and for Miss Karen ️

My 5 year old son absolutely loves his classes with KF Dance. Classes are so much fun and he has learnt alot. The concerts are so great for all the kids teaching them confidence on stage. We can’t wait for many more years to come with KF Dance.

Dance class has been a highlight of our week for almost 2 years! Our now 4 year old is always asking when she can go again. I enjoy it almost as much as she does! Thanks for creating such a fun and supportive environment for the little ones. Karen and the teachers are super stars!

Our daughter loves the fun and inclusive environment of her toddler movement classes. She has gained so much self confidence in being able to freely express herself. We are looking forward to her exploring her voice, acting and dance through the Triple Threat program this year. Grateful to have KF Dance in our lives and so close to home.

My daughter is 4.5 but has been attending weekly dance classes through KF Dance since she was crawling. My daughter has loved all of the different teachers that have taught her over the last few years. All of the teachers are so committed to their teaching jobs and putting smiles on their students faces! We have never had a negative experience with KF Dance and can’t imagine we ever will!

Our daughter Adeline joined Miss Meg's toddler class last October. She is only 2 years old and I believe one of the youngest dancers. While sometimes shy, she has an absolute ball! All the older kids are so gentle and lovely, and Miss Meg has been amazing and inclusive from day 1. In fact, Adeline is always asking to go visit Miss Meg for more dancing.multiple times a week! Haha She has learnt all the songs and dance moves and we dance them at home, she also loves teaching them to our family too ️ Of course we have signed up for another year!

Such a wonderful studio to be apart of. Offering multiple locations across the Geelong region, there is sure to be a class that suits. The Philosophy of the studio is why we have been apart of them for over 6 years. Inclusive, Encouraging and fun is how id best describe the studio.

My 3 girls had a fantastic year at Lara in 2022 with Miss Haley! Thank you for being such a warm and welcoming teacher every single week! Can’t wait to start back this year X

The confidence my eldest Ashlyn has gained from doing Karen Feldman dancing Is incredible from a little girl who cried on stage and clung to me each class to a confident girl now owning her moves abs the stage. Even through covid the teachers were always so encouraging. Each week the girls look forward to dance day and showing everyone there routines. Couldn’t recommend enough

KF dance is such a fun, warm, encouraging place for my daughter to not only perform but also learn so many valuable life skills! She has gained so much confidence on and off stage and learnt to work as a team while being on stage together with lots of beautiful other children.
Super supportive and encouraging teachers also make it such a nurturing environment.

Highly recommend KF dance! All the teachers are amazing so inclusive of all children! My daughter loves coming so much.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to KF dance. She has developed so much confidence and enjoys being active and making up her own dances now. She has been going since she began to walk. The instructors are all so very lovely and inclusive. They make all children feel comfortable.

My girls do dance and tumble tots with KF. Their confidence to develop and conquer new skills just amaze me. Their teachers are brilliant in allowing them to be children yet teach them without stressing the kids out. KF dance are very accommodating and handles concerns/ queries/ feedback in a professional manner.
Looking forward to this year especially the concerts.

Some staff members are not friendly. They look like discriminate on some kids although all paid same amount for courses. I am not recommending some staff members in Hamlyn Heights.
