We had a very small job which we needed completing. Jake was amazing, he came the very next morning, on time. Jake was pleasant to deal with, very reasonable price wise and incredibly efficient. He also checked the rest of the roof for any damage we may not have been aware of. Overall an excellent experience and absolutely no hesitation in recommending KAPT Roofing.

I have nothing but positive feedback for this company. I have been dealing with Jake a for a few years - every time I have a (different) roof problem it gets solved - properly. Today Jake did a quick 'swing by' fix - solved my single broken roof tile - no charge. Such a rarity in today's age where everything has too many $000's - and as a result this is the only company I use! Thanks Jake.

We had given up on trying to get our usual roofing contractor to fix a leak & were wary of trying elsewhere as we’ve had bad experiences with poor work being done on our 100+ year old terracotta roof. However when the leak caused our safety switch to trip, Kapt roofing was recommended by a builder we trust. KAPT arranged to come by the next day, arrived on time and quickly identified and resolved the leak issue. Jesse was great to deal with - I would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

AVOID KAPT! - their poor workmanship cracked our roof tiles and GAVE US A ROOF LEAK AND WATER DAMAGE. We can’t believe the nightmare that we’ve had to go through with this company and have incurred water damage to our home. We bought our home not long ago! We had NO issue with leaks but the condition report of our house had suggested having the roof repointed as part of maintenance, as it’s an older house. After asking for a simple repointing and rebedding, they sent out a subcontractor whose initial job was so poor, messy and unprofessional, with visible gaps, we had to ask them to come out again. Not only that but only after the job that they quoted us for rebedding for, did they tell us they actually did a “partial rebed” and didn’t bother actually taking away any old tiles, just shoved new mortar under them. After getting them to come back, we asked for the old mortar to be removed from under the tiles that were meant to be rebedded, and for it to be filled in properly. We could see and hear the subcontractor flinging chunks of old hardened mortar all over the roof while working, obviously cracking a tile. Imagine our horror when four days later during the first heavy rain, water began pouring from the ceiling, damaging the ceiling and walls. My partner was able to climb onto the roof to see that one tile had completely cracked in half thanks to their negligence. They proceeded to take zero responsibility and make every excuse, such as that the cracked tile must have been there beforehand, or that the rain was much heavier than before - despite us having zero leaks before, and despite the leak being resolved after we were forced to fix the tile ourselves. They said their insurance wouldn’t cover repairs for the subcontractors’ work, then spoke to the subcontractor who did the job, who had supposedly checked for cracks and was “certain the crack was a pre-existing issue” - an unbelievable lie given that he had said there were no issues after working on our roof twice. They both refused to take any accountability for the damage or help us rectify it.
Whatever you do, do not risk your home going with this negligent and unprofessional company. Zero out of 5 stars.

My original 1940s terracotta tile roof was leaking in multiple places and I also had water coming in from a couple of whirlybirds. Jesse inspected the roof and took photos to show me how the iron valley had rusted and the ridge pointing degraded. I went ahead with both repairs as well as removal of the whirlybirds and replacement of cracked tiles. It's such a relief to now have a perfectly dry roof! Jesse was really friendly, responsive, professional and honest and I highly recommend him. His prices were very fair and he even left me with a stack of free roof tiles in case I need further repairs in future.

Jacob was absolutely brilliant, he went above and beyond and the cost was so incredibly reasonable. Workmanship first class and we have already referred him to friends.

From the outset Jesse was very easy to deal with to come out to get a quote where he clearly outlined the various options and pricing involved for each. He made himself available to do the work the following week, communicated well and turned up on time, and was more than happy to come back on a following day to address a lingering issue. Very professional and courteous service. Jesse provided correct advice and only repaired what was broken. Since I hadn’t gone on the roof, he could have suggested whole roof restoration. But he did the right thing and only suggested to get roof pointing done. Very happy with job.
