I tried this restaurant with my partner and mum. I’m not very familiar with Macedonian cuisine, but the waitress was so helpful! The food is cooked over charcoal so the flavor is amazing, the prices are very reasonable also! We couldn’t finish it all and had 3 courses, wine and appertif and spent under $200! A range of traditional Macedonian wines, which we tried and really enjoyed.
The ambiance was really relaxing and very rustic European vibe. Honestly we loved this restaurant, plenty of free parking behind the restaurant, and walking distance from the station.

Amazing place and delicious food the best chicken. I’ve ever eaten in Melbourne.

This place is a little gem in the neighbourhood. I’ve never tried Macedonian food before and the food was amazing. I would definitely be coming back here to try more things from their menu.

Ordered take away which cost $140 for 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and under. Disappointed is an understatement. For the first time in my life I've actually felt the need to post a review for food in a negative context such is the injustice I feel. 3/4 of the meal in the bin and majority cold. I can't begin to express my disappointment. Lesson learnt and won't be returning. Really sorry guys but just not up to the standard that's required for such a price tag. I honestly feel like McDonalds would've been a better option for dinner tonight.

Kaneo is one of those rare places that capture the essence and taste of a region in an authentic and family friendly atmosphere. We came here for dinner with the family and were greeted by the most cheerful and jolly host. It’s a friendly environment run by a family (who we all met) who genuinely love what they do. The ambiance was fantastic and there was lovely live music that reminded mum of her Eastern European upbringing. The food was fresh and delicious and my family were in love from the onset. If you’re after tasty European fare than look no further than this gem in the rough. Highly recommend!
