Delicious food and not stupidly busy like other places in Lakes Entrance was very enjoyable.

Great atmosphere the meal they served was grilled salmon with mango and cous cous great meal and lovely service from young staff

Nice pub feed, food came quickly and was nice and hot. Really nice place to sit and enjoy a quiet beer and dinner.

Arrived and got greeted at the door straight away; very friendly staff. Service was great and food was delicious. Just a heads up the chicken burger was spicier than intended. Keep an eye out for their specials too, great value for money.

Such a bad experience. Order took ages, the porterhouse steak cost $47 but taste like rubber, so chewy, so bad quality. Beef burger is also the worst I have ever had. Salad dressing taste like hydraulic acid. Will not come back again.

We camped out back of the hotel. For three days had a great dinner for two and the froffes were nice and cold. Will be back.

Great location with spectacular views, parma was okay, but had to wait 1 hour to get our dinner, chick snitz and fish and chips not so good.

Absolutely loved our meals, great quality food and the service from staff was the best I've had through my travelling so far. The manager spent time the other day with us on a casual day and remembered us tonight and made the effort to come say g'day! Great, Great experience for dining and enjoying just a night out. Staff were good and accommodating but that's about it. Apparently the kitchen can remove coleslaw on a burger but can't add lettuce and cheese.
Can't serve a garlic bread that wasn't frozen inside.
Beef burger was stone cold.
Understandably I know staff issues are a common theme but with food like this they won't need staff.

Great country pub. Was very busy and the wait time was longer than normal. They were upfront at the start saying you may have to wait longer for your meals. Could see they were understaffed but did very well and meals were great.

I am giving 5 stars because Management and the team were so wonderful. I had the Salmon and black rice and it packed a punch of flavour. It's so refreshing going to a Country town where people really care about their service and food. Thank you?

Do yourself a favour if you're in the area looking to have dinner visit here while the sun is setting, enjoy a great meal with your sunset!

We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day and were just as happy with day 2!

Friendly handsome barmen with great service, not too busy now before the season really kicks off, and a well stocked bar.

Very nicely prepared classics like a great chicken parmigiana or lamb rump with a bit of extra flare, you won't go home hungry but if you can fit dessert in the chocolate creamaux was amazing.

Never have l had meat more chewy and flavourless then at this place, absolutely awful and the cost of this meal was also ridiculous, sorry but never again

Thank you Michael for providing a great free camp spot! We had dinner tonight… Steak Night. Steak and veg were cooked just right and service was terrific! Good range of wine and beer too. Really enjoyed the local Orboost Brewery, Sailers Grave Drowned MSN IPA on tap.
Whether you’re camping or just out for a good meal this pub is well worth a visit!

The view is what people come here for, but we came at night!
We loved our seafood dishes: Flavoursome and almost delicate, but definitely not stingy! Fortunately we had room for dessert too.
The service was efficient and really friendly.
We'll definitely come back - probably when there is a view.

My porterhouse was ordered medium, it came out well done, my chips were cold & whatever spud thing they put under my steak was absolutely disgusting, tasted like actual dirt, my red wine sauce tasted like I had taken a swig from the bottle.
The place wasn't even busy & we still waited an hour for our meals. We were a party of 6 & 3 of us got our meals 20mins before the other 3.

The staff however were lovely & understanding, they gave me a refund for my absolutely woeful meal.

Sad because it does look and feel like a really nice place.

First dinner when we arrived here at Lakes Entrance for the Mother’s Day weekend. The service is wonderful and the food was excellent. We love the Prawns with rice and bread, so flavourful and perfect match. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the seared scallops, superb!

Hosts were attentive & food arrived fast, basic pub meal & we didn’t receive the right meal on our plate, was a little disappointed but was still happy enough to eat it.

Your basic country pub with your basic meals. Nothing too fancy with the food which was OK however, what it lacks in this department is more than made up by the country hospitality from our gracious hosts. They made us feel welcome and were quite helpful
