Kai Mook Thai

There were only 2 ppl dine in including us, but the 2 foh staff had no idea, few people standing right infront of counter but the staff just not noticing them or ignoring them until someone coughs for attention.
Food was quiet fast but service was so slow and poor. Looked like the staff just wasnt efficient.

Food is OK however the service offered to people dining in the restaurant is of secondary importance to Uber and take away it seems. A long gap between courses - too long to wait. Not a positive experience.

Been looking forward to trying this restaurant. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Sad to say service let's them down. Empty plates sat with us well over 40 mins and am now writing this as I wait for our desserts. Hopefully not too long now. Been here over 2 hours already.

Put online pickup order here, a small one, drive 15 mins to come here, and waited another 20 plus mins. I could starve to death then pick up my food! Unless you are not hungry (which no need to buy food soon) not recommend to come here

Decent, Aussie style Thai food in a comfortable setting. The service was friendly enough, food was quick to the table and at a reasonable price for the portions available. I’d love to see some more authentic options on the menu, cooked and served more traditionally. All in all not a bad experience.

Attention to detail is important, we have ordered Thai here for a couple of years, we have had a mix up with orders before and we’re understanding as one off things happen. The mix up tonight was epic. Waited 40 mins in the restaurant for two green curry’s & a pad Thai, to get home to find two red curry’s & a very average tasting pad Thai. I rung and complained, didn’t feel like I was listened to over the phone, as the lady kept talking and didn’t listen. We bought the food back to prove an incorrect order was then given a full refund.

Excellent Thai food, have visited several times. Would get five stars if they can improve their table service.

The food here is easily the best Thai food in the Northern suburbs. To add to that, the prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are big, and the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. When the staff are as relaxed and welcoming as they are here, it makes your dining experience even more enjoyable. Thanks Kai Mook Thai!

Got a large amount of take & found the whole lot very disappointing. Little flavour, rubbery fish cakes & doughy noodles, so sad.

Got our order wrong EVERYTIME WE ATE THERE, definitely not recommend this restaurant, it is just a waste if time and money food is also pretty bad and lousy.

In our immediate area of the Diamond Valley, we are spoilt for choice with excellent Thai restaurants. This one has always been on our list, but maybe not first choice in the past. However, we are now regulars. The quality is so consistent, and the prices so reasonable. The service is friendly, too. I made an error ordering wine, and it was entirely my mistake. When the waiter notice I had not drunk my wine, and I explained why, they took it off the bill anyway even though it was my error, not theirs.

After going to this place for approximately 10 years, quite obvious it’s changed hands. Not even half full Saturday night, service appalling. Took forever to take our order, left dirty plates on the table at least an hour after finishing. Over 35 minutes for 1 coffee, staff sitting on their phones or sitting down talking. More concerned with Uber eats orders. Very disappointed to see wet rice left on the floor not only dangerous but not appealing. Was told it would be cleaned up the next day. No care factor at all. Miss the ladies that used to be there so accomodating. Definitely will never return.

Went here on sunday, the food was amazing, the service was great, had a bit of a chat with one of the boys at the front about footy! Totally recommended, beautiful food, beautiful people!

Divided opinion: the Massaman curry was nice but the Stir fry pork belly was like eating cardboard. Decor is nice, service was good, just avoid the pork.

Food wasn't traditional Thai, the noodle dish had more red capisicum than noodles and ordered 2 Pinot noir and it was served to us and it was definitely off.waitress notified and we still got charged on bill even though the waitress took the full glasses back, that was enough for us not to return.

Food is fresh but not very authentic. They use cream/flour soup base for tom kai gha when it is suppose to be coconut milk. Fried prawn cake is frozen fish fillet with a whole prawn stuffed within rather than prawn mince.
