Recently we moved with kahlon movers from regional Victoria to Melbourne.every thing went very well.we recommend

Kahlon movers were very helpful and professional. They were on time and pretty quick with loading and unlaoding stuff. We are really happy with their service and 100% recommend them.

Very good company, staf very polite, loading furniture and other stuff with care.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Disgusting, racist and greedy customer service.
A week out of our stuff being delivered, we asked for a breakdown of costs - as we had requested they breakdown, pack and rebuild our furniture. We were told they'd send it by 5pm. The day of our stuff coming and still hadn't received a breakdown. The movers arrived at 2pm and we're told they're only staying until 6pm as they had another delivery to make - they will only rebuild 2pieces of furniture (our bed and baby's cot) but not the all pieces as discussed and agreed previously. Not impressed but mildly understandable. They leave and we were asked to pay. It was late in the evening at this point so my husband said "yes we will pay tomorrow. Please send the breakdown. "
Next day we moved in, finish rebuilding the furniture and while unpacking we start to find broken items. We're asked to pay the bill. We reply "Sure will do. Please send the breakdown. Also some of our items are broken so what is the procedure? " We received no apology or any sympathy in any form, we were told the breakdown would be sent through soon so please pay. Several phonecalls later, repeated requests for the cost breakdown (always replied to with questions of when we will pay the remainder and confusing responses like "I'm a working mum" and "I'm so busy we had to hire another person"), and still ZERO apology nor sympathy for our broken items (which included my wedding bouquet & a wedding present tray). None of these items were properly packed - both wedding items had zero protection around them. The tray had been jammed down the side of a box filled with other items. My bouquet box was also not wrapped and had been packed in the bottom of a box with mostly books ontop which were much heavier. The other two broken items were glasses which
were wrapped but moved freely on top of their box. Honestly I was surprised more wasn't broken as the quality of the packing between boxes was vast - some were meticulously packed. Others looked like they'd swiped their arm across a table, letting everything fall in the box then stuffed paper ontop. All 4 broken item were photographed in their boxes and we told them once we finished all the boxes, we would send through the photos. In response we were repeatedly told "we've never had complaints of broken items before", "we're a family business", "the movers say no boxes were damaged" (implying we're lying), "show me the broken boxes" (to which we replied she wasn't listening as it wasn't the boxes that were broken but items inside. Though no doubt she didn't hear this explanation as she constantly interrupted and spoke over us). Still no breakdown sent nor information on how to claim for the broken items. Things came to a head when she accused my husband of having poor English and of his English being deceptive. I scolded her for being racist, for her disgusting behaviour and hung up. She called us ""offering"" to have the movers return to our place in the morning to finish unpacking our kitchen (if she'd listened at all she'd have known that was finished), they would finish our furniture for the fee of $50 per item and then once it was proven no items were broken (again accusing us of lying and trying to cheat them) we would pay our total while the movers were there. So her solution was to send goons around to show we were lying&hiding something and to make us pay. This plan was instantly rejected. She openly admitted she thought we were trying to lie&hide things from her and that we were trying to avoid paying our bill (despite repeatedly telling her we were happy to pay once everything was finalised). Utterly disgusting treatment! We told her so and that we would be filing a complaint with the Fair Trading Ombudsman. The head mover called later that night and immediately apologised. He took full responsibility for the broken items, said he wouldn't return in the morning and would pay for a whole new set of glasses if needed. My husband sent him the photos and reimbursement cost (which was less than $50 after all that!).

I've moved house 8-10 times, these guys by far are the best removalists Ive ever used. Really responsive, lovely guys, they took care with all our things, and such an amazing price! My sister recommended them to me, and I was not disappointed, hire these guys for your move, they are worth it!

I hired this company only because of the good reviews only to find that they are completely unprofessional and can be quite slack in their approach to stacking a truck.

Isn’t the whole idea of getting a removalist so you don’t need to move things yourself?

Well that’s what will happen if you hire this company. The told me that they ‘definitely could not’ fit 7 more boxes on to a load that was realistically half full and then proceeded to tell me it would be extra per hour to come back and collect these 7 boxes and bring them to my storage unit.

They will constantly speak their language right in front of you and they definitely have no issues in attacking, confronting and intimidating an 8 month pregnant woman when you question them on poor service. If I could give 0 stars I could.

Kahlon Movers are the best. Terry (who we had on the day) was super professIonal and polite. Extreme care was taken with every step from removing to transporting to unloading at the new place. Everything was wrapped where required and strapped down securely. Not one thing was damaged. They dealt with the awkward stairs at the new place also. Highly recommended.

The team of movers for my 8am time slot did not arrive however they made it up to me by sending another team by 11. Amazingly priced and the team took great care of all items. They went the extra mile to secure everything and even did an additional unchartered drop off along the way. Romey and his crew were very personable. Would recommend!

Romey was great! Quick and efficient, and professional. He got the job done in half the time and everything arrived safe and sound!

I have finished my move from Kahlon movers. Sunny and his team has been responsive throughout the process and kept me updated on timings and cost. They have arrived on time to my location and started the work immediately. All the work has been done very professionally with no issues while moving to a new place. They have taken care well of my all furniture, packed and wrapped well without impacting any of the walls while moving in and out. They have also dismantled all my beds and furniture in short time and arranged as requested in new home where they also assembled everything efficiently (where one of the king bed is electric and difficult to dismantle and assemble, they have done it so well). I have not seen such a great service and professionalism from a mover company where we have thousands of businesses running around with so many issues. I highly recommend this company (thanks to Sunny and team for making my move so easy).

We went with this company for our relocation move from a 2 bed apartment up a flight of stairs in Melbourne VIC to a house in Canberra ACT. They were friendly and efficient and took great care of our things. They were on time and their truck looks like a quality truck. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future. Thank you for making our move to Canberra a lot less stressful than it otherwise might have been!

Such an amazing company. I have moved with them a couple of times. I suffered a medical episode during the move and the boys were amazing giving me care. They sorted everything out for me and went over and above. Best service.

I used Khalon movers yesterday to move my two bedroom unit. Romey was extremely professional and polite. Very quick too. Completed the job really quick. I would recommend them to everyone. Best and cheapest home movers in Melbourne I have come across so far.
