Kacha Thai Restaurant (Dromana)

Don't judge this book by its cover! From the outside, you don't assume the quality of the food is as high as it is, but after trying several dishes on the menu, this place exceeded our expectations. The food is fresh, delicious and very high quality. I only give reviews when I'm super impressed - so well done Kacha Thai! Your friendly staff were great too! We'll definitely visit many more times.

Good location. Authentic dishes. A pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, and Excellent customer service. And the most important thing is the food is very delicious and tasty.

Short staffed, long wait, food very average. Had to query bill as we were overcharged. Won’t be going back.

Tried a few things from the menu, everything tasted nice n fresh. Especially loved the yum wun sen noodle salad.

Ooh the food is fresh and delicious and the staff were great. The location is clean and inviting the only issue was the birthday song, the restaurant plays a birthday song and they didnt play it for our group of 8 when they bought the cake, so we asked them to please play it. When it played it wasn't as loud as we normally hear it, we could just hear it. However later in the evening there was another group that celebrated a birthday and the song was played so loud the whole restaurant turned to see who's birthday it was; this was the only inconsistent thing during the night. Other than that we will go again and again and again!

Cute little place, although the restaurant was empty, it was busy with take away orders, we ordered the seafood Pad Thai, it was pretty average - however, it was packed with seafood which was good!

The food was very average. We had several types of dishes and the meat was very chewy. The Pork special was probably the worst. Was very disappointed considering all the reviews said this place was very good. We ordered take away.

Had take away, the honey chicken was delicious and fresh! My dumplings and pad Thai were good and tasty as well.

Whenever we stay in Dromana we frequent this beautiful thai restaurant. Service and food is lovely, it won’t disappoint!

We were told 20mins waited an hour and half. The food wasnt horrible but not something you would be like WOW THAT WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT!

Waited a inexplicable hour and half to get my two noodle dishes takeaway, which in the end they still got wrong. Missed the sunset with my partner and more or less ruined the evening. Never again.

Amazing food! Full of flavour. I ate here recently and the food was so so delicious. The service was very slow due to so many customers but it was worth the wait. I had a beef stir-fry which literally melted in my mouth. Yummy yummy food. Highly recommend

Definitely recommend Kacha thai. We had the mixed entree, penang curry and Singapore noodles. Lovely food. Spring rolls were not greasy. Everything was fresh and flavoursome.

The slowest service ever! The food not the worst but honestly there was about 5 people who came after us for takeaway and left within 10-15 min while we had to wait almost an hour for our food.

Slow and careless service! Not with the wait for the food! Waited almost an hour for the food with a hungry child! Never coming here again!

Prices seem to change every time I go in their one time was $82 this time $102. Phad thai was nice but rice was a bit hit and miss. They also charged me $20 to add an extra rice to my order. They seem to make it up as they go and don't stick to their own pricing.

Spot on local Thai. Entrees and mains were all good. Nicely presented and with good flavour. Our party of 10 had great usual standard dishes and enjoyed them all. Service was pleasant and charming and the place was also decked out nicely. Conclusion: it’s a very good local Thai. Recommended.

Very disappointed. The tuna salad had canned tuna not fresh tuna. This should be stated on the menu.
