3-4 months ago back when I was struggling to find work my friend gave me some advice to sign up with this labor hire agency. In previous years I’ve never gone through an agency before but decided you know what “let’s give it a go what have I got to lose”. Being a backpacker in Australia at this time was difficult due to the COVID-19 outbreak & I became VERY low on funds. Then I met Jack from the JV Recruitment office, his guidance & support over the phone was highly regarded & super helpful from start to finish.

One of the first jobs he told me about he thought I’d be suitable for so he gave me all the essential info. What was supposed to be 1-3 days working on this site turned into 3 months on FULL TIME hours (consecutive 40 hour weeks). This gave me the opportunity to build my bank back up & thus allow me to continue living out my year here in Australia.

I have worked for JV for almost a year. They have always found me work when I need it. The labour hire boys who I deal with are amazing. Joe the safety man always checks in on me to make sure everything is safe which is very reassuring. They are the only agency I would recommend in Melbourne.

A lot of the time recruitment is hit and miss but if you do the right thing by the boys they keep you busy. They are pretty understanding when you are working for other companies or don't take jobs, they just call another time. I will also add that is even when I have been choppy or difficult to deal with and dropped agreed to shifts The organization has a good time sheet system and the team handles problems pretty efficiently. Good team of guys to deal with.

Haven't found me any work, Che k in regularly but totally useless like most labour hire agencies in Melbourne
