JUNTO Cafe reviews
27Quite possibly one of the worst cafes I have been to in 20 years. Eggs Benedict came out with the bacon cold, eggs cold and overdone, the greasiest hollandaise I have ever had, and toast which arrived two minutes later. My partner had Thai satay chicken and fish cakes. The fish cakes were something straight out of the supermarket. This cafe doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it Thai or is it conventional Aussie? Three quarters of the items on the Thai menu weren't available. And the interior of the place looks like an afterthought. Don't waste your time or money coming here.
Great place we stopped by randomly on the way to uni. Food looked and tasted amazing. Menu was simple with just the right creativity to be exciting but not overwhelming. Service was great.
We had eggs Benedict (the one with bacon), burger and chips, green smoothie, cappuccino. The chips were perfection.
We live in Melbourne cbd but I'd consider driving out to try the Thai dishes on the menu. The chef is Thai and she was super friendly and lovely:)
Very bad services, they always have a bad behaviour with the costumer. I received a very disgusting services today and a badly done breakfast. I don’t recommend this place.
So glad I stopped near by, friendly service that goes along with the relaxed vibe. Great coffee and awesome bacon & eggs (even going the extra mile & making it take away so I could eat on the run) hey Nate
First time visit and we will definately be back.
Mostly share tables with 80s music playing in the background.how much better was music in the 80s!
Very reasonable pricing with some things very, very cheap (e.g. $6 lasagne! I didn't have it but couldn't believe it, a $6 lasagne on the menu!)
I had poached eggs and a pot of chai tea. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the tea was proper leaf tea with whole spices like cardamom; served in the cutest tea pot.
The eggs Benny was very generous with around five slices of bacon and lots of hollandaise.
The bread was a good sourdough and not that crusty that it felt like you were biting into a brick; which is what you get with some other cafes.
Finally, there was a large hand sanitiser station by the front door for your convenience and QR code by the register.
Only suggestion for improvement is to have one QR code on each table, or, at least lower the QR code down as I had to hold my phone above my head to use it.
Great little place!
Almond latte was perfect. Pumpkin frittas were the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back again.
Food was good. Went late Sunday morning and they were pretty busy and only two staff so was a bit slow. Coffee and breakfast were great
Great Advo eggs, good to be back out enjoying breakfast after the lockdowns. The breakfast was very good, perfect poached eggs runny yolk when they break open on top of a sizeable bed of advo & feta, some cherry Tas, and a good portion of beetroot purée on the side for a slight bitter sweet addition, squeeze of lemon over the top, I couldn’t resist a side of bacon 9/10
First cafe visit after restrictions lifted, what a delight. Coffee excellent, the best spinach and ricotta roll and friendly staff, Thank you Junto!
Had lunch here today with my beautiful daughter and my future daughter in law. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and very reasonable prices. Could not fault anything. We will definitely be going back again.
Great coffee and great place to hang out with your friends and/or family. Nice breakfast and lunch options and cakes. Keep your kids entertained as well with the colouring sheets!
Great food great atmosphere n friendly customer service. Been here few times and always welcomed me with a smile. Highly recommend this place.
From the NEW menu I tried the mushroom & cherry tomato bruchetta with parched eggs, very nice would order again
Friendly staff, good coffee, good food at very good prices ($8.50 for Scrambled Eggs on toast, which was delicious)
Waited nearly 45 mins for food to come Out. I ordered a sausage roll and some chips. Not impressed.
Good barista coffee and muffins felt welcome service good. The cafe has a distressed appearance inside and out and also has some interesting Artworks on the walls. There is also alfresco seating outside front door with table service. Just 100 m up the street from GESAC and my small group of swimmers have enjoyed the cafe many times.
Had lunch here. Later that night was sick and vomiting, has food poisoning. My housemate was sick to as we both had lunch there. Won’t be returning. Food must of been unhealthy. Hopefully the council will inspect.
Best coffee and delicious food. Caters to all dietary requirements and their chips are to die for!
Waited nearly 45 mins for food to come. Out. I ordered a sausage roll and some chips. Not impressed.
Had a blueberry muffin & HCT toastie with double shot cappucino! Perfect after a swim @ GESAC. Quiet cafe quirkiness defying the suburban drabness of Bentleigh! And not yuppee prices best of all despite the quality of the servings. Chapeau Junto cafe!
