Jungle Juice Bar reviews
71This place makes you really feel like you're in Melbourne. Friendly staff, amazing bagels, good service and great coffee, tucked away down an alleyway off Flinders Lane. Yes you could go to Manchester Press for pretty instagrammable bagels, but I promise you the bagels here are better - chewy, full of flavour, and their house made tobasco sauce just topped it off.
Like an old friend, the jungle delivers fun and warmth every visit. Yummy bagels are accompanied by an outstanding house made, hot sauce, with cool retro tunes, such as George Harrison, Mondo Rock and Joe Jackson, hanging out in the background. Washed down with a hits- the-spot Saigon coffee.
One of my fav city tiny breaky/lunch venues
Best staff! Annabelle and Marcus are da bomb! Fresh juice and delish bagels my fav ye good olde BLAT, (forgot to happy snap earlier so only half shown in pic) home made Tabasco all served on super fun ping pong tables! Centre place is a must for a funky lane experience!
Visiting from brissy with a friend and DREAM of these bagels every time! Kindest people with the most thoughtful service, cannot recommend this place enough! Food is incredible for the price point! Cannot wait to come back and try the coffee
Good food, phenomenal coffee (best I’ve had in Melbourne by far), and friendly accommodating service.
The place is small but they utilise what space they have well. Smells fantastic and the general vibe of the place is comforting for a sit-down breakfast.
Bagels were really good, always super fresh. The coffee was honestly amazing, barista knows her stuff and was super friendly.
Highly recommend for bagels and coffee!
We found Jungle Juice by accident - and were so happy we did. Amazing bagels, delicious juice, very reasonable prices and the warmest service I’ve encountered in Melbourne’s famous laneways. My 12-year-old son couldn’t stop talking about it!
Best bagels in Melbourne, the BLAT is amazing. Also the juice slaps, so fresh and tasty. I’ll be forever dreaming about them when I go back to brissy
Best bagels in Melbourne.
Everything about the place from it's décor to music to staff is so lovingly authentic and unpretentious.
My favorite café in the city.
Sourdough bread was okay.have not tried bagels
edit: I visited quite a while back, but just reviewing now.the day I came I was told that you were out of bagels but it would be replaced by sourdough bread (with the usual bagel fillings). I guess this probably isn't the norm so I'll be happy to update the review when I get to try the bagels
Couldn’t believe that places this small exist and do well nor the review of best bagels in Melbourne……. Until I went here and tried for myself. Service was excellent, bagels were delicious and I will be going back here to try more of their menu. I had a cheeseburger bagel and my colleague had the smoked salmon (boring? !? !), they were outstanding. The bagel itself was sturdy enough for the filling but not heavy to eat which I find ruins a lot of bagels, it was almost fluffy but full of flavour. Highly recommended for dine in or takeaway
This was the cutest little space selling bagels, coffee and freshly made juice. The service here was beautiful and the bagels were delicious and so cheap! The juice was made to order so it was lovely and fresh. My partner and I came here twice during our four day trip to Melbourne and will 100% be back!
The best Bagels I've tried, but he should ware gloves as I don't eat pork and I noticed that he grabs everything with his bare hands and cuts the Bagels with the same knife.
Stopped by just to get the Reuben bagel!
It was really good. I was surprised to see real corned beef used instead of pastrami.
I've been travelling this beautiful country for three years now and this quaint little place would have to have one of the better coffees I've had in a very long time. Bagels were bloody good too!
Hands down the best bagels in Melbourne! Highly recommended, lovely staff good vibes and cozy spot. Need to try Humpty Dumpty an absolute favorite
Favourite café in Melbourne, every time I visit I make sure I come here. Try the Saigon coffee!
We come here every time we visit melbourne, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, great service! The breakfast bagels are superb and the Vietnamese coffee is incredible!
These guys make the best Gluten Free Reuben sandwich I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve had every Reuben sandwich in the world. In fact I even met the guy the sandwich is named after. Reuben Rolfenstein Rollybloster. Absolute A-hole but you gotta give it to the guy he invented a solid sanga.
And I don’t know what kind of gluten free bread these guys are using but if I ever find out I’ll do something crazy, like…like ride around on a bicycle onCollins St in nothing but a fedora and some pink zinc on my face. Singing one of La Bouche’s tracks, such as Be My Lover.
Seriously, thanks guys for a fantastic sandwich, it warms my heart and my belly! Your friendliness is appreciated during these times too (and I loved your picture of me with my pooch!)
