Julie-Anna Inn, Bendigo reviews
31Great place to stay in Bendigo. Excellent reception and service and clean, comfortable rooms.
Lovely, friendly, very obliging staff, restaurant with fireplace onsite, (bed a little firm for me), big room, huge bathroom, soft, large towels, clean and tidy.
Fantastic accommodation, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only thing I recommend is a toaster and microwave would be handy but apart from that loved our staying!
My first stay at this Motel and it was great the rooms are large and very clean. The beds are amazing. I had both Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast which again I would recommend.the restaurant over looks the lake which is nice.if you looking for a quality room look n further.
We had nice couple of nights stay here at Julie-Anna Inn. Room, pool and facility was very clean. Customer service was very friendly. Location is also good, close to Lake Weeroona and City Central.
We enjoyed our stay and would definatley recomend for anyone visiting Bendigo.
The Julie-Anna Inn has the charm of a small business, but the quality of a 5 star resort. Staff here take pride in kindness and good service and I would stay again in a heart beat. Plus some 10/10 garlic bread so winning all around
Absolutely beautiful rooms. I couldnt believe the cleanliness or space. The only disappointment was we attended for the treaty festival so we didnt have the chance to enjoy the room. We will be back!
A wonderful weekend stay here at Julie/ Anna. Very clean and well presented rooms. Staff are very helpful and courteous, always willing to help. The Breakfast was wonderful. Great choices of food. But as a suggestion maybe add pancakes to the menu. Thanks for a great stay.
Friendly customer service from first contact to check out. Highly recommend cooked breakfast. Clean room and lovely views. Definitely coming back.
Was very clean. Only complaint was a small step that was not easy to see. Needs something to make you aware of it as it is near the bathroom, fridge and wardrobe.
Brilliant central position, great room size and excellent follow through with booking challenge.
Recently we visited Bendigo and our accommodation was nearby the Julia-Anna Inn.
Where we stayed did not have a restaurant so we went to Julia-Anna and explained to Kristyn we were not their guests but could we book for dinner. We were warmly welcomed and yes we could book.
On arrival we were once again greeted in a very friendly manner, courteously shown to our table and was waited on like we were long lost friends.
Our meals were delicious and we could not fault one little thing…. So much that we returned the next evening.
We did inquire about accommodation for our next visit and was shown (photos) of the rooms. They look absolutely amazing too!
Keep up the great work!
Exceptional. Very clean, great little room and very helpful and pleasant staff. Will definitely return again.
Many thanks
We had been upgrade so our room was large, huge bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. It was great to park our car at the door and to sit in the sun and enjoy the view of the well maintained garden and pool area, very peaceful.
We were using a Pay now, Stay later package purchased during Covid and enjoyed all the activities we participated in and the freebies along the way. We also visited and throughly enjoyed the Mary Quant exhibition.
We ate out every night and the people of Bendigo were very welcoming and friendly especially when we dined at The Belmont Hotel and won the meat raffle!
Thank you to the Management and Staff at the Julie-Anna Inn
Spotless, clean rooms, beautiful garden. Friendly professional service. Be great when restaurant reopens.
Very large rooms with equally as large bathrooms. I stayed as part of a large group booking and the breakfast provided was very fast service. The inside of complex has a very large and well maintained garden and pool area. Great customer service and perfect location across from the lake for morning walk/run
Stayed her for 5 Nights on a Recent trip to Bendigo
Accommodation was Excellent Value
Beds Extremely comfortable -
Facility was Exetemy well maintained even though the lack of people staying (due to covid)
Friendly Receptionist & Manager
Would i Stay again - Definite Yes
Clean and spacious rooms. Staff very friendly and efficient. Has a guest laundry facility and a pool. Right across the road from a beautiful lake with great walking paths.
The motel was very clean, and modern. It was a great stay and the location was excellent. Close by to public transport and across the road from the beautiful Lake Weeroona.
However, there was some annoynces. There is no sink or drinking water taps/fountains anywhere in the motel, including the rooms. We needed to use the water in the bathroom/toilet to fill our bottles and cups to drink, and clean our cutlery as there was no water or sink access anywhere else.
There was two areas in our room where the ground was abruptly raised causing a large step, but really should be level. This was a definite tripping hazard and a bit of a concern, especially being a family room for families with kids.
We booked the family room which consists of a queen and two single beds. The 5th person slept on the couch that opened into a bed that wasn't the most comfortable.
The motel advertises as smoke free, but there was plenty of people smoking outside our sliding door which wasn't nice. Even with the door shut you could still smell the smoke coming inside our room which was disgusting and extremely unpleasant for us.
The queen bed had an air conditioner directly above. This air conditioner was located in a very inconvenient location, as cold air directly blew into your face. No matter how you adjust the vents, it will always blow the air at you when lying on the queen bed.
There is no cooking or BBQ facilities to use anywhere in the motel. This was a big let down for us, as we needed to use the public BBQ at the public park across the road.
No games room or table tennis tables.
The pool outside was nice to use in the hot weather. Open 9am to 9pm. The water temperature was on the colder side, meaning that it wouldn't be usable in colder weather, but nice to use in warmer weather.
Offers WIFI which was good, and a small laundry. We enjoyed the large Hisense 55 inch Internet enabled TV with YouTube.
Parking directly outside each room door which wasn't covered.
The owner and staff were very nice and friendly to communicate with.
Great location opposite lake Weeroona. Slept very well in the most comfortable bed. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Thoroughly recommended for a trip to Bendigo.
