Such slow service. Had to wait 15 mins for menus then about the same time to order then another long wait for drinks to come out. The food was ok but one meal was wrong when it did finally come. No one came to take more drinks orders etc and it wasn’t even very busy.

I came here with my two year old after Prahran Pool.
The staff is great, the food excellent and the music is making you feel like you are in Mexico.
Who doesn’t love a delicious Pacifico beer and tacos.
Great happy hour too!

As a frequent traveller to Mexico, I cannot believe I've missed this local place on my doorstep that serves authentic margaritas with decent tequila which aren't pre-mixed like all other Mexican restaurants. The chef is Mexican and the Beef Birria, fresh jalopeno poppers and aguachile were divine! Decor is interesting but super cool vibe. Highly recommend it.

Our experience here was a disaster.

We waited for 45+ minutes for our food despite being the only patrons in the restaurant. When it did come it was severely disappointing because key ingredients were missing, the tacos were wet/soggy and gauc was $6 extra (despite the menu saying $2). When we politely raised these concerns we were told it was our fault because no one had ordered that menu item before. There was 0 effort to rectify our disappointment. On top of that we were charged full price for a margarita despite it being happy hour.

Best Mexican Food in Melbourne! Me and my partner were recommended this place by his colleague who hails from Mexico. The vibe, the drinks and the deliciousness of the food did not disappoint. Perfect for a first date, or a week night bite. The decor is the perfect electic collection!

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience here.
After ordering a vegan beef taco, I received a real beef taco which I found out by eating it.
The waitress was really sorry and I received two vegan tacos plus guacamole shortly after.
It was a nice gesture since I got one extra taco and the guacamole on the house but the tacos were terrible, very watery and tasteless.
The other waiter or manager (not sure) apologised as well, since it was his fault because he took my order wrong. I paid the full price for my meal which was not worth it.
Those mistakes in hospitality shouldn't happen and sadly we won't return here.

Cocktails are amazing. The staff service is very efficient and the food is unreal. Definitely a good place to go for dinner or even for pre drinks before a night out

Most authentic and flavourful Mexican I’ve had in Melbourne. Every tacos is packed with meats and extremely tasty. Absolutely great value for money as we were all left satisfied and planning our next visit. The staff are so friendly, which is always a bonus. My mission is to try everything on the menu over time. You know a place is a gem, when it leaves you inspired to try some of recipes at home. The place is quirky and definitely a great place to have cocktails. A must for all to visit.

Most authentic Mexican food you can find in the area. Try the Birria Taco’s and you won’t be disappointed. Great mix of meat and Veg options. Overall a great down to earth vibe that is hard to find near chapel. Love it here.

We had a good time but wasn’t a huge fan of the taco shells. Happy hour margs are great at $12, I will come back for them

Came here for the tacos and they were amazing. The tortilla to filling ratio was perfect (more filling is not necessarily the best) and everyone of them were so flavourful with the fresh coriander, diced onions and salsa pairing. Also ordered the birria tacos which was not on the table menu but can be seen on the board displayed just outside the restaurant. The cheese was grilled onto the tortilla and when dipped into the consommé the tender pulled beef soaks up all the flavour. One of my top taco places and they were pretty cheap as well.

Awesome tacos and tasty margaritas, highly recommend the pork tacos with a michelada. $6 tequila shots on Fridays and $4 taco Tuesdays.

What an amazing discovery! Finally a place with authentic Mexican flavours. They also got nice vegetarian options. The salsa verde is delicious and the tortillas are perfect. We ordered 6 veg tacos and a chicken enchilada and everything was very good. The black beans taco was too salty for me though. Music was a bit too loud when we arrived and Rage Against the Machine was on the speakers which isn't ideal while dining but later got a bit more relaxed with Soda Stereo:).

It's the best Mexican food in the area so far. Way better than Si Señor, Juana Taco, La Cabra or Radio Mexico.

I'll definitely recommend to friends and we'll be back soon. Keep the quality level!

These guys really know how to prepare Taquitos and Birria, and they are very friendly as well - what else can you ask? - We came down from Brisbane and this was such a nice surprise.
