I’ve been going to Joyce & Son for the past few months and they never disappoint! Excellent quality meat at a fair price combined with friendly service.

After trying a couple of butchers in this area, Joyce & Son are superior. The guys are down to earth, hard working, friendly butchers who offer the best quality meat with great cooking tips to boot. I highly reccomend trying their Leg Of Lamb or their Eye Fillet steak cause you won't regret it.

I picked up 1.5kg of their pre made Gyros meet on Saturday. They put it on the spit roast rod for me, and told me how to cook it. This was the most amazing food ever! I'm definitely going back for more.

Bought Gyros meat yesterday (cost almost $90) and cooked it. Lamb was okay but chicken did not taste good, in fact my boys were annoyed that it wasn't nice. I had to throw out chicken gyros. Pretty costly disappointment. In saying that, they seem friendly and probably have great produce but their gyros isn't something I would recommend.

I've been coming to this Bucher for over a year and I haven't been disappointed once! All the guys are great characters, down to earth and will give you advice on how to cook different cuts of meat and honestly warn you about difficult cuts. The prices are on par with all the big supermarkets and the quality is outstanding! I recommend them to everyone!

Bought some refrigerated packaged dog bones half an hour ago and for the third time i could not even give them to the dog
i cut the vacuum sealed packet open and the foul smell was so overwhelming that i put them straight in the bin. I thought once or twice it can happen but this is just ridiculous

I have bought meat at this shop for almost twenty years. It's a family business, three generations - or maybe four. The meat is top quality - and they avoid the use of preservatives. Mr Joyce and his staff are really knowledgeable about meat, support Australian farmers, and are always really friendly and interested in their customers. It's a pretty special Melbourne butcher, along with Brentas in Fairfield, for people who care about the quality and ethics of what they eat.

Excellent free-range Black Angus beef from their own property in Euroa. Staff are knowledgable and very friendly, and the quality is outstanding. My family can tell from tasting the steak and even the casserole-cuts if I hadn't got them from Joyce and Son! The free range chicken, lamb and ham are also very good. My favourite butcher in Melbourne.
