Joy of the Earth Community Garden reviews
7 It used to be a lovely place for gatherings, gardening and community.
The phone number provided is out of order, you need to hunt for the one that works.
It takes about a month for response when you can contact them and small to medium events are frowned upon (even to bring in more clients) unless it's a working bee.
Their attitude towards people that can't participate in voluntary working bees due to support issues is disgraceful and discriminatory.
Beautiful space, beautiful kind hearted people growing food and supporting community, does not get any better
This is an amazing place. Please come and visit. Get your own plot and start
I haven’t been to the Joy of the Earth Community Garden, But I have sent an email sometime last month and I was wondering if If was possible to read it ASAP. I didn’t know what to call the subject (in the email) so it’s called.
“ If Possible, Please Read! ”
Because there’s a deadline for me to get this project done, if there is no response by next Monday (22/10/2018) You can just ignore the email. Thank you!
Hi this is a great garden and an asset to the community. People involved were friendly and welcoming with a passion for the garden. Looking forward to being part of this group and growing some vegetables
This is such a great use of public space. There to enrich, encourage and educate gardeners new and experienced. The layout and extensive infrastructure that has been achieved in the short time since it opened is a testament to those involved. Very welcoming to newcomers. Understandably the gate is locked to protect from vandals. Contact members or come to an Open Day to check it out.
