Journey Early Learning Essendon reviews
5My 3yo daughter just loves her time there, when I attempt to pick her up she generally doesn't want to go for a good fifteen minutes of coercion! And she comes home with 2 full shoes of sand from her fun outdoors
So very fortunate that our child attends Journey Early Learning.
Their vision statement of developing authentic relationships with families and within our local community beautifully sums up their approach.
You can’t really put a price on the learning and development of your children, so as parents take great comfort in that our little one has both first class facilities and support in so many ways.
Testimony to the staff, in particular the educators who are in every way an extension of our family. The highest possible compliment we can pay them is that they go above and beyond for all the children.
They demonstrate a care factor you simply won’t find anywhere, and management have really set the benchmark in care.
Whilst the staff are always optimistic and positive, we acknowledge the incredible amount of hard work they put into maintaining their standards, it would be naïve enough to think this happens overnight without a winning team.
We’ve seen industry low staff turnover and the same faces and continued support does instil a great deal of confidence.
What’s great about the Journey team is their proactive approach to education in general.
We see and witness on a daily basis the development of our child through activities and programmes they introduce such as happy feet dancing and musical maestros.
The team celebrates cultural diversity and inclusivity of children of all backgrounds which helps positively reinforce the kind of thinking present in the wider community.
Further to this they engage in community activity and excursion trips for the kids, which naturally helps nurture their mental development outside of the facility. Facilities are overall exceptionally managed and maintained, spacious, and encouraging that the educators spend as much time outside as possible weather permitted. The gardens and ambience of surroundings both inside and out are conducive and welcoming to the kids in engaging all kind of activity.
Food and nutrition play a key part and their future foodies programme is fantastic, the recent new chef has elevated both the menu and quality to pretty much gourmet grade. It’s a creative approach and parents are informed on the evolving and creative changes.
This demonstrates a considerable level of thought and attention towards a programme with the utmost care and consideration. As one of many parents in the community, we are all the richer for having Journey play such a pivotal role in our kids development.
To the Journey team, keep up the fantastic work. Your meticulous approach and attitude towards providing such a comprehensive and modern based approach towards kids development is second to none. Over the past 1 ½ years your innovative and positive behaviour continues to leave a lasting positive impact on our child, and will no doubt help future ones.
To any prospective parents reading this, take comfort in the fact your kid will be in the best possible surroundings and don’t hesitate to book in a time to see for yourself.
We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Journey Early learning in essendon. The staff are so friendly, kind and caring. My daughter looks forward to her day care days and I love that there is an app to get little updates through out the day and also the childcare now app to pick up extra days when/ if available.
The outdoor areas are big and full of lots of different options for the kids to play and they also get to experience little excursions to nearby parks etc.
I always leave my daughter knowing she is in the best hands with all the beautiful staff but also knowing she will have a happy fun day!
I'm really pleased that after visiting eight centres I chose Journey Essendon. I have found all of my daughter's kinder teachers to be nurturing, responsive and invested in my daughter's social and emotional development. Their facilities are excellent, particularly the size of the outdoor yards which are open, bright and filled with greenery - a rarity for a Melbourne centre. Their Chef prepares a wide range of nutritious meals that my daughter raves about, and every single staff member is genuinely friendly and welcoming when you pass them in the hallway. Most importantly, my daughter loves going to kindy and adores her teachers.
