I just wanted to write a massive thank you to the Joncol team for delivering us with a beautiful home. From our initial meeting with Jon, to Ken the painter finishing up the other day our experience has been nothing but positive. Thank you Anne and Travis for your support, expertise and attention to detail which has produced a home exceeding all our expectations.

We used Joncol to do an extensive renovation and extension to our house and I can’t fault them. Jony and his team are fantastic to work with and I absolutely trusted them. The communication and support from the team was excellent, especially having to navigate the build through lockdowns and supply chain shortages. Had an amazing experience with Joncol Building Services. Midway through what we were hoping was a tiling job (with a different company), we discovered we needed a builder. Jon was able to come out and quote the next day, he was on time, professional and really honest. We didn't end up using this company on this occasion as it is a relatively small job but I will definitely keep Joncol Building in mind for future projects.

Really attentive communication, and despite a few hiccups that were out of our control (the apartment building was itself going through major cladding works via another contractor, which had complicated things a bit), the project was delivered exactly as I asked for, on time (which is impressive because I asked for a tight turnaround) and to the quoted budget. I absolutely couldn’t be happier with the results.

I will definitely be going back to Joncol if I want any further upgrades done in the future.

We commenced discussing our renovation plans with Jony from Joncol in late 2019 and he worked with us on quotes many times throughout the whole of 2020, until we were finally able to commence the works in late October 2020. Jony and his team have been great to work with and we are extremely happy with the results. We engaged Joncol to complete our renovation/ extension through 2020, and with everything 2020 through up at us, they were fantastic to work with, reliable, great at maintaining communication throughout the job and both Jony and Nathan helped us through the different stages of the job with clarifications along the way. AMAZING!

Signing up with a builder is a daunting experience, we’d never done it before! Renovating is costly, we wanted the best finish we could get but you can only research so far. We had chatted with people in the neighbourhood, who had used who, everyone was happy who had used Joncol, they had been great to deal with, easy to talk to, good pricing. Would our experience be the same? Our house was old, it had questionable wiring and plumbing. What was really underneath those weatherboards…? We felt comfortable with Jony, confident in the projects we had seen. So we did it, we couldn’t get any more assurance - we signed the contract and that night we felt excited and anxious. Was it the right decision? We rushed about, found a short term rental and moved out of the 1940s Californian Bungalow we had lived in for 10 years.
Fast forward 7 months and without a shadow of a doubt this had been 100% the right decision – today we have the most exceptional house… When I say its beyond our wildest dreams, I honestly mean that, it is beyond what we EVER dreamed it was going to be.

Kane was our man, our go to man for anything and everything and we are actually a little bit sad to not have him in our daily life anymore! He was extraordinary, he had his eye on everything, things we needed to start thinking about ahead of time, he took all the stress out of what really was underneath all those weatherboards and rebuilt our old dated house into a Californian beauty. He also has an amazing sense of style, the goal the entire time was a monochrome house, black, white and tones of grey. We wanted to modernise it but also to keep with the heritage art deco touches and his ongoing suggestions of black power points, handles, cornices and ceiling roses were considered as if they were our own ideas, he was amazing to work with on every level and he thought of everything.

All of the trades that worked at our house were always polite, always respectful, a great natured team who together do an phenomenal job. Matt and Jordan at Core Electrical helped us make some great choices in lighting effects to capture the mood and feel we wanted in various rooms and spaces. Trent and Nathan are amazing carpenters and we asked Trent to do the fences on the property as his attention to detail, we knew the fence would be a standout like the rest of the house. He hasn’t let us down either. The tiler Andrew was fantastic, he was attentive to our tiling details and made our bathrooms look really special.

In short, we simply couldn’t be happier with the entire process from start to finish. You cannot wipe the smile from our faces when we pull up at our house, and walk into our stunning home.

I used Joncol Building Services to do a repair to my roof structure which had the potential to collapse.   It is a very daunting experience trying to find a builder & I immediately felt comfortable when I met Jony.

We have had such a great experience working with Joncol. Jony is a gentleman, open and honest and gave us so much insight. He is prompt to answer or return your call or email. This is so important yet often neglected in this industry. You won't regret getting them onboard to complete your renovation.

Joncol recently helped us with a renovation project at our rental property.
Other builders would have declined the request as the job was relatively small. Joncol took it on and gave it the attention to detail that a larger job would receive.

Nathan did fantastic work both 'on the tools' and as site manager/coordinator of other trades. Such a lovely, friendly person too!
