Johnny's Furniture South Morang

I've only ever written 1 customer review for another company but the service has been so poor i feel compelled. I ordered my couch back in August 2023 and was told it would arrive early October. For months i had to call the store for updates with not a single email or phone call letting me know about delays since their system wasnt set up to do such. It was constantly pushed back until it finally arrived in late December. However they sent the wrong couch to what i had ordered which barely fits in the space i have. I have now been informed that i will have to make do with my current couch until, at the earliest, March 2024 for the correct couch i ordered to arrive. We paid in full upfront with no form of compensation offered for the inconvenience caused of having to wait. I would never order from this company or their sister company Ashley furniture. Save yourself the hassle.

We came in to look around for a couch, and got a great price and great service too, loved every minute of this easy and friendly (and super welcoming) experience.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Walked in around 11: 45am I was the only customer instore both team members stayed seated while I walked around for 20min NO APPROACH nothing! Only as I was walking out the man asked if I needed help with anything? What on earth is happening with lazy customer service these days! I was in touch with someone online and looking to purchase 33 chairs. Let's just say I didbt buy the chairs

I ordered a couch which was supposed to be to delivered in early November and has not been yet

I have already called your south morang outlet 4 times politely including the manager says we’l call you back on monday friday n haven’t heard from any of them ever

And today for the 5th time when i am calling no body is picking up the call

Are people some kind of joke or you really do deliver stuff?

Had. Great experience from David from sth morang store. It’s the second time I have purchased from johnnys and both times have had fantastic experiences and a big Thankyou for David for honoring the sale price.

Incredibly impressed with David. This business thrives because of his knowledge and customer service. We sadly did have an issue with a couch. But within a week it was organised to be replaced and sorted. David ensured it was about customer satisfaction and we walked away extremely happy with what we’ve ended up with and wouldn’t hesitate to go back knowing we’d be taken care of. Thank you!

These guys are amazing excellent customer service, friendly staff, helpful in whatever you need. The REMOVALIST was even better unbelievable service I haven’t see a person like that at all. Was on time excellent service I will always recommend him to my family and friends. When he delivered the furniture he went over and beyond wow.these days you will not find a person like that. Purchased one of their “best seller” chaise lounges that arrived early January about 3 months late and I wished I had cancelled my order now.
These lounge suites aren’t worth the money, the cushion stuffing inside is cheap and already starting to move the fabric, the cushions are balling and you can feel the wood when leaning on the arm.
When it was delivered the 2 guys dumped it in my home and left with no care!
I called the store straight away and was told it is extra $200 to get it assembled, I said I was never told that so I hung up to try and put it together. I got to the pre drilled holes and when putting the legs on they were not straight however the chaise wasn’t pre drilled at all. By now Im furious!
I called the store a few days later to speak with the manager and was then told some don’t come pre drilled, I said what am I supposed to do as all I own is a hammer and screwdriver. He said I would have been told when purchasing it, I know dam well that WAS NOT the case because if it was I wouldn’t have made the purchase.
These couches look nice but they are cheaply made and certainly not worth the money. My previous lounge suite was 20 years old still in perfect condition and l very comfortable and regret this purchase.

David made the whole process of buying a Sofa set really easy. Very helpful and gave us a discount on the delivery.

After delivery, we found an issue with the Swivel Armchair, and upon lodging the complaint, we were provided a replacement within 2-3 days.

Excellent place to buy your next set of Sofas and beds.

The quality of sewing however is not top class. Lots of places where we had to cut off loose threads to make it look nice.

Overall, I recommend this store and will buy from them again.

During lockdown and all the restrictions it was difficult to actually see the furniture however Shane made the whole process so easy. Lots of calls and photos and his explanation was exactly what we received. Had it in my home within days after ordering. Just perfect thanks mate, I will come and see you with my wife and kids looking for more furniture soon. Your a champion.

Never walked out of a furniture store before and though god that was easy! David’s relaxed and professional customer service and knowledge of the products in store was A1. He took the time to show me lounges that would fit the measurements of my room better to what I was looking at. I’m so happy and thrilled with my purchase. The delivery guys were great too!
