Johnny Bigg at Myer Southland

I was helped by the most amazing assistant, Roy, who helped me pick out a shirt for a wedding. He stayed back to help and I’m extremely grateful. Thank you Roy!

I'm a big guy and when I shop I need to shop for big guy clothes, and Johnny Bigg has two G's which I assume is at least one bigger than big (biggger?). While the company is yet to respond to my letters regarding this point, I can confirm that I have worn other clothing with only one G and it was not as largge, however this is anecdotal evidence only.

I was helped out today by Roy, which for the purposes of this review I'll a assume is not a made up name, alias, or pseudonym (Roy? Seems suspicious). While I may have misgivings about Roy's identity, there was absolutely no mistaking the care, attention, and overall high level of service provided in helping me cover my shame at various upcoming social events.

Roy asked some great questions about my needs, established an easy rapport, and engaged in some light banter that made my trip (my day even) a lot more fun. He steered the conversation well and used appropriate and respectful sales techniques to make sure that I walked away with everything I needed. When I did a swear at my large awkward child Roy laid down the law because Johnny Bigg is a place of respect for all humans and I can get behind that.

Finally, I acquired my Bigg clothes which are stylish, comfortable, and full of smart big guy technology like gussets, stretchy fabrics, forgiving cuts, and those fat guy waistlines that expand or contract to conform to your powerful torso. Hell, even just finding a place that stocks a belt that will fit without having to poke my own holes in it makes it worth the trip, but Johnnnnny Bigggg is so much more than that.

Five stars, maximum respect to the so-called "Roy", will be shopping there again.
