13I like somuch. Very good track for runners. I am marathon runner of Pakistan. I love run. I did walk on out side track. It's nice everything. Thanks.
A running track. Kept in good condition generally and has a few drinking fountains littered around. The lights seem to switch off at 7: 30pm though so you can't stay there too late, unless running in the dark is your kinda thing.
Great Track and Field areas, Freindly people, bring sunscreen as it gets warm or even on overcast days,
This place is a typical athletic field, with running tracks, disc throwing, long jumps.probably all the sports facilities you'd need. There's a fair amount of car parking around the field, and great walking/cycling path along the Barwon River. Close by are the rowing club houses too.
Athletics isn't really my thing, but ther overall grounds are well kept.but the public toilets can be rather disgusting every so often after a school athletics carnival.
I've been running at landy field since 1980 it is an excellent place to train. The track is first class.
It's adequate for the athletics use it currently gets, but will need redevelopment if Geelong's ever going to get serious about having its own A-League soccer team
The sport equipment must cost heaps to update! Every thing is clean, able to use and a good use of space. This is a good spot to train, practice and stay fit. It is in quiet spot in town with the bike track right next to it.
Mens toilets were a filthy discussing and sickening mess at 9am it looks like the toilets hadn't been cleaned in weeks
Sometimes I wonder if Geelong really understands how lucky they are with the facilities that are available to them. Land Field is no exception; with synthetic surfaces, lush green infields, great shaded areas, playgrounds and a grandstand. Where ever you sit you'll be close to the action and sheltered from the elements.
Been going here for years on and off. Could do with better toilet facilities but still a good athletics centre
I enjoyed going there on school sports days. They have many setups for various track and field events
Good track for extra large competition. All schools from geelong and districts compete there at one time or another
