Primarily a chicken shop but guinea hen, pheasant, partridge, pigeon, hare are available from time-to-time, with a year-round stock of frozen game as well. Game birds come at a price (very expensive relative to usual meat prices, and compared with prices eg in Europe), and more visits than not only frozen will be available, but this is one of very few places in Melbourne stocking game.
John's freerange corn fed chicken are the best all over the Melbourne! And always warm service!
I have ordered whole turkeys from year twice and both times the service and quality was great! They are now my go to place for Thanksgiving! The one I ordered this year was nearly 10kg and came out great!
