After a bad experience with another business, I contacted John Barnes Locksmiths on Centre Road. Greg was excellent- so knowledgeable and skilful and competent that he made the lock repairs look easy. Which they weren’t. Both my locks are working well again. I spread the word to family snd friends- all of whom basically said, ‘John Barnes? Yes of course. They’re excellent. Didn’t you know? You should have asked me. ’ Well I know now. And so do you.

Really friendly, thorough and well priced service. To get my safe opened, key pad fixed, new key pad batteries and a manual key cut, JB charged me $55.00 whereas Bunnings would have done just the key cutting for $143.00 with a 5 week wait. JB did ask this in 24 hours.

Fantastic service. Spoke to staff at 9 am in regard to an issue for an elderly client they called me by 10.30 and had a service person at the home by that afternoon to fix the problem.

They are always courteous and helpful. Have been a customer for over 40 years and prefer to sometimes pay a little extra and not go to the bigger warehouses.
