He makes some of the most intricate pieces of art. His work has made me fall in love with nature, as it shows hidden blues in the leaves. It reveals hidden details I usually don't notice, in the Australian environment. Joe is an incredibly talented painter. I had the pleasure of helping celebrate one of his works take a top place at the Paddington Art Prize in Sydney in 2019. Well deserved too! Joe's technique is so considered and genuine. It was really fascinating to hear him speak of how he has learned from studying the old masters. That's not to say he uses his skill to copy. He interprets landscapes and captures the nuances of light and shadow in a way that is unique and mesmerising.

Joe created a fantastic piece to hang in our medical clinic. It cleverly draws the viewer in so they feel they're wandering in the Australian bush.allowing a brief detachment from reality before they have a procedure. It's beautifully done.
