Rapt that John is still in business. The last time I took my vintage amplifier into be serviced was 22 years ago, when they were in Macleod My stereo is up and running again with both channels, I havent turned my stereo off since getting it back. Highly recommended. I had an old Quad CD CP2 player (high end) that I had always had trouble with. John fixed it for a very reasonable price and it works perfectly. Great to deal with and a highly skilled technician.

John showed a good knowledge of the hardware and its absolute value. Nowhere near worth repairing but because of its sentimental value I asked him to repair (or at least attempt to) my old Sony tape deck. The operation was successful and the patient survived, I can now listen to my very old tapes in the original system. Cost? Not cheap but given a good tech is hard to find (many other techs didn't see the value of even attempting). It took a while to get my unit back but that also dropped the price

Very pleasant to deal with and helpful.
When the repair was successful but another problem seemed to have appeared with the TV, John refused to accept full payment for his work (however the TV turned out to work perfectly once I got it home).

John went above and beyond in repairing my old VCR player by checking everything was in good working order including giving the remote control a thorough clean and not just repairing what I had requested to be fixed. It was all done to a professional standard with good communication.

John fixed my tv& suround sound issues expertly & explained in plain English so I would not have further problems.
