JJ's Pizza Croydon

Picking up order 7pm sat quiet busy but I was greeted with a fantastic staff member didn’t catch her name but has a tattoo on elbow
We made chit chat etc while I waited for my order this woman was answering phones taking orders and even had time to sweep up while other less enthusiastic staff just milled around this woman is a credit to the business and it’s great to see

Female pizza maker with green hair very rude to the staff that worked behind the counter
Was always complaining and frequently yelling just to get her point across
The atmosphere was pathetic for the follow staff
I believe she needs to good you will loose staff consistently

Horrible customer service.
The manager was rude.

I am an Uber driver, the only one in the store being served by the only server in the store. I was aggressively told I was standing in the wrong spot, and treated harshly and without respect by the owner or manager. Couldn’t believe it. I’m doing the place a service and I was treated like this.appalling.

I’m running a business that serves his business, I’d expect mutual respect from a business I am working with.

I’ll never eat here, and I’ll let all my network know not to come here.

Thought we would try a different pizza shop in the area and found JJ’s to be way over priced pizza that was undercooked /soggy.

Absolutely beautiful pizza! Downfall is how long you have to wait! Placed an order to arrive at scheduled pick up time to have to wait another 40mins. If you are hungry, don’t order from here on a Friday night!

Was told this was a good place to go to. Didn't taste very fresh and very overpriced, much better pizza's for half the price nearby.

Ordered via Uber eats and took 1hr 50mins to be delivered. When we got delivery pizzas they were stone cold and had to put them in the microwave. Pizzas were tasty but not worth the wait. Disappointing as this is the first experience ordering from JJs. Sorry won't be back.

Got the vegan veggie pizza. As far as pizza and bases goes it’s fine however they do use a coconut oil based cheese so it just takes really funky. Like really funky, kinda made me gag. Change of cheese would definitely make this pizza stronger

Only pizza place open past 10pm on a weekend. Pizzas were lovely & the staff super friendly. Will be getting pizza again from here for sure.

Absolutely fantastic carbonara. I had a special request of no spring onion and very plain if possible due to being sick. Not only did they deliver a lovely meal they left me a get well soon note. Will absolutely be recommending to anyone and everyone I’m very happy and feeling better now due to their lovely food

Very poor customer service, never coming back, whom are you responding to below for vaccination
My review is about the behaviour of the man attending the reception, there is a courtesy for customer service, that man is ruining the name of the business.

I don’t know why you’re so obsessed with the vaccine stuff; I left a review about your customer service, attitude and pizza quality and you keep responding to some vaccination status stuff.
This whole place seriously needs to learn how to behave with customers.
Pizzas are average, overpriced and overrated.
Not returning again.

Easily best pizza I’ve had, BBQ meat lovers slap so hard nearly had a whole large to myself. Bloke who made it needs a raise for sure, should’ve tipped him tbh but definitely goin again

Best pizza in the area by far! Always super fresh, plenty of toppings, and great flavour. Great customer service and delivery times. Go out of our way to order from them every time!

Telstra had cut off their phones unannounced in a truculent way due to NBN not at their premises.

Got 3 custom pizzas and the were delicious. Even got a little joke on the box. Made my kids night and made me smile.

JJ’s Pizza is so incredibly good! Such awesome pizza and quality customer service! Would not even consider getting Pizza anywhere else!

Pizza really good. Very nice to see the manager taking the time to talk to a new member of staff in a friendly respectful manner. Must be a good place to work.

Consistently great pizza with great variety of toppings. Staff members are always friendly, prices are reasonable and it’s always kept clean. Service is fast too. Can’t go wrong with this place, it’s awesome.

Seeing the glowing road sign up in civic square, proudly advertising the herald sun “best takeaway in Aus” award from 7 years ago (2014), shows just how much JJ’s as a company values tradition, and not wanting to let go of the past.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. If you didn’t like the pizza then, you probably won’t now either. But if you did like the pizza 7 years ago, then you’re probably still being served the same herald sun award winning recipes.
