Great Chinese BBQ

Firstly let me apologise for the poor quality of my photos. In most cases, we had already started eating before I remembered to take any photos.

We had the lamb skewers, dumplings, chicken wings, tofu skin dumplings, mushroom skewers, grilled steam bread and lamb soup. The lamb skewers were great. I thought they were a bit small before being reminded that you get 6 for $7.50 which is pretty good value. The chicken wings, tofu skin and grills steam bread all had the same type of seasoning as the lamb skewers which worked for me as I liked the taste. The dumplings were really good - a combination of chives, egg and prawn - quite unique. The lamb soup was huge. It some with a lot of offal so if you aren't into offal, steer clear of this soup. The soup itself was deliciously light and peppery.

The service was good. Not much English was spoken but we managed to get by. My son was a bit disappointed that they didn't have soy sauce for his dumplings but they are meant to be eaten with vinegar.

Overall, the place is very good. A great place to eat skewers and have a few beers. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Very delicious skewers! It was very authentic and tasty! Beware though the waiters doesn't really speak English but ordering was very easy as it was done through scanning a QR code. I would definitely come back again the next time I visit Melbourne!
