This started with poor quality of service from a Jim's Building Inspections but has now evolved to an extremely poor customer experience from all levels of Jim's Group, hence why I'm posting this review here.

I had a pre-purchase building inspection completed by Jim's Building Inspections. Unfortunately this inspection completely missed a significant issue: a leak coming from an exterior wall and subsequent water damage that left visible clues of replaced plaster and high moisture readings. We only became aware of this after purchasing the property and moving in. Of course, this means that the original inspection failed to deliver all relevant information for a potential buyer and has then led to significant financial loss, stress and associated health risks from mould growth.
When approaching Jim's Group for compensation, they reviewed the situation with and saw no fault of the inspector. I have since contested the decision citing Australian standards that were not upheld but have been met with dismissive replies and a frankly offensive level of apathy from all levels of the organisation, including Jim himself.
Months later and I still don't have an answer to my questions of why this was missed and I have been offered no compensation. Meanwhile, we continue to suffer and have been left out to dry by a company that prides itself on excellent customer service.

I would highly recommend against Jim's Building Inspections and also wish to express my disappointment in the behaviour of its CEO, Jim Penman who has done nothing to rectify the situation.

We used their Mowing Services, Had Issues, Complained to head office and they were Arrogant, Didn't Listen, Spoke Over Us and Even Jim Ignored the stress that their staff put us under.
It flows from the top down and I would advise people to
#BOYCOT-JIMS-BUSINESSES He doesn't care.
We have people with Special Needs and have an increadable stressful life. If he was who he say's he is he would give the benefit of doubt and actually listen to what his clients have to say.
This is my voice now Jim. Your business practices need to change when it comes to customer service!

0 star. Being charged an expensive call-out fee ($141.90) only to receive a rip off quote ($1739.9).

Below is what I experienced in WA, April 2023

- Basically, 2 basin taps are leaking water, and need re-seating done
- I called Jim's asking for plumbing service, got put through to a business called 'MR Emergency', operator says 'MR Emergency' is Jim's but recently renamed
- On the scheduled appointment date, a van painted with 'Upside Down' showed up, the plumber says 'Upside Down' and 'Mr Emergency' is the same business.
- The van has a South Australia number plate on it

Everything has been very convincing.to put the cherry on the top, the quote came out at $1739.9.

No thanks and will never trust Jim's again。

The course was 5 star all round. I was very impressed with the information given and the humour that came with it. Facility was excellent and food was hotel quality. I highly recommend for anyone contemplating a franchise.

Had a Korean couple come to first clean windows and to clean carpets. Very bad would never use Jim’s again. They need to go back to scratch and learn. I am getting another carpet cleaner out this afternoon to clean the job that was done by Jim’s yesterday. Very upset. Disabled person senior.

Absolutely fantastic! Cannot recommend the Jim’s group enough! This training was non stop learning and kept my interest 100% of the time. Everyone was so engaging and the energy was incredible. I would sit this course again without hesitation!

Best training experience for any new franchisee barre none.
Great presenters and facilities. You even get to meet Jim himself! Do your research before coming as Jim's Group has 100's of videos online. However, you won't regret it if you do make the decision.

I feel they are running a scam with bizza. I rang for handy man. To fix my brothers lose rail. I leave 2hours away from my brother. And he has disability so I do my best to help.

Jim s gave me a handy man who works with his wife. This is in nsw. He is in castle hill area. He seemed very nice. My brother told me he did great job.

But my brother wouldn't have a clue. He thought cause it's not moving it's ok.
My husbund went down to check it. He said it's dodgy he charged $100 For 5minute job and put 50cents brackets from Bunning. Any how's he asked me if more work for him. I said quote me on kitchen and dining for my bro. And kitchen cupboards. It's such small home. Kitchen and dining combined is equal to one average size room. I was desperate. As no one was interested in doing a job that's not worth much.
He charged my brother $1,850 which my husbund said he ripped your bro off.
He put done $150 to move furniture. There was no furniture to move. All he had to do is bring a cabinet away from wall. And tiny round table. And material $400. The work was so unprofessional. Paint mess every where. He missed corners. He said 2 coats but did one. I complained to Jim s. They said cause they are bizza contractors they only can get them to fix mistakes.
They came back. But it's not good job. Than I found out. He can't paint. And on his work information he has handy man. No mention of painting.

Be aware. Of this husbund wife team. They seem so lovely. But their painting work is disgusting. To rip off a disabled person. How Low can you be.

STAY AWAY from Jim’s Group, they are the most unprofessional, inexperienced and untrustworthy brand that I have ever dealt with. We are left with a non functioning system that they will not take accountability for. Worst of it is that I contacted Jim Penman explaining the issue and asking for a refund so I can have worked rectified to which he replied…nothing I can do! What kind of franchisor responds this way to a customer! They claim their mission is all about customer service! It’s the opposite, their only care is to take customers money & they couldn’t care less what happens afterwards. Shame on you! Jim’s brand is disgraceful & very unAustralian! I will share my experience far and wide with everyone I speak to to stop you doing this to others!

They are running a scam with Contractors. They would ask you to choose contractors based on the rating. You would assume that highly rated contractors are good, however, once you take contractor services and not happy and leave a bad review on Bizza site. Jim's Group also known as Bizza will take down the review only leaving good reviews. Never trust Jim's Group (Bizza) or there contractors.

We had a minor leaking at the kitchen sink under pipe.
Called Jim's Group.
Paid over $130.0 for call out fee.
The plumber replaced the pipes under the sink, worked for about half an hour. Charged over $900.0 for the small pipes and half an hour labour.

In total, paid over $1000.0 for the small leaking problem.

So terrible.

Will never use Jim's Group in future.

Sunshine Coast Skip Bin operator reneged on our deal. Deal was to provide a bin where I would ring when it was full, which was usually around 4 to 5 weeks, this was agreed to. The deal was ongoing and potentially over 12 months. Second bin blew out to about 7 weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. Franchisee was notified and agreed to the extension, then proceeded to tell me that the bins are now in high demand and he will not be hiring out past 2 weeks (even though website states monthly hire available). This has now left me in the lurch to chase down another Skip Bin provider. So much for Jim's 100% customer satisfaction. In this instance it is all about greed, screw the customer

Never used this company before and I don't think I ever will be using them, they cut the grass for my neighbor and used the blower to push all the grass to my side of the property. If you were professional you would rake up more in order to blow rubbish into corners less, lazy rule of thumb is to not rake and just push rubbish to corners.
