Quirky little pub on Swan Street. Grabbed a quick drink on a Friday evening. The live music hasn’t started yet (it was just about 5) and we had the place to ourselves for a while.owner was very friendly. Good selection of spirits and a decent nibble menu. I’ve heard some of the performances here and they are pretty good. Nice place to hangout after work.

What an amazing little place with just the right vibe & laid back ambiance along with some oh so delish tapas & some pretty dam good cocktails served by the friendly owner Anthea & her staff, whilst kicking back on the comfy lounges this time listening to Nat Allison.highly recommend

Perfect live music venue for awesome musicians to showcase their originality. With a lounge room vibe the ambience is relaxed yet decked out with quirky furniture and artwork.
Great tapas food, warm welcoming staff, and a bar menu that suits all taste buds. Anthea, you have created a space that is second to none. Thanks soo much.

Really cool place that I stumbled upon on a Friday night. They were hosting some new music which was great. Good selection of tap beer and spirits. Not much space so get in early if going with a group.

Really great spot. Little secret gem. Small intimate bar, lovely menu & cocktails list. Table service, plenty space and live music almost every day. Staff super friendly Did, very chilled atmosphere! Did not expect any of this before I went and was v impressed and will def be returning!

Easily one of the best place for live music and great food. You can see everyone takes a lot of pride in what they do. A must visit.

This place is a real gem! A relaxed saloon to have a quiet drink and enjoy music from local artists. The tapas menu was also worth trying. Loved the eggplant chips!

What a wonderful experience we had Amazing venu with the outstanding talents of Jo McEvilly on Piano and Fem lead vocals blew us away with her voice not to mention her violin.
I would totally recommend Jimmy Hornet if your looking top service and a intimate night of music

What a beautiful little bar / lounge. We are so lucky to have gems like this. This place is what makes Melbourne cool! Great host. Great Music.

Jimmy Hornet is a laid back 'moody' cool joint & a perfect setting for musical talents such as the Jazz duo playing on this Friday night. The bar lined a space both dark and narrow filled with low tables & velour/lounge seating focused on the intimate stage. I chose to 'bar-fly' it on a retro stool to eat as hanging solo, both bar staff were funky folks with panache at serving so it's like being part of the show right? Small groups out post lockdown this evening were picking at top tapas and chatting around the supported musicians playing their set.

Vegan & Gluten Free options on this awesome little menu. Warning, massive serves for the price! (GF Calamari W/apple slaw & rosemary salted chips in pic)
The made to order chef's masterpieces & elegant listed wines seemed made to mix'n'match & the Moscato was amazeballs actually, it was like drinking liquid roses. (yeah, I know Moscato!? !).

Jimmy Hornet website had many free or local acts, music is their centrepiece so know I'll go back & check it out again.

A hidden gem in Richmond. We had such an amazing time.
The service and hospitality were incredible. The venue is intimate and welcoming.
They have a small stage that will support local acts soon. I cannot wait to visit again.

Amazing place, amazing vibe, food and friendly staff. A real music venue and not too loud to carry a normal conversation. Music 6 nights a week is just as impressive. Quite an achievement for a Melbourne venue. The whiskey menu is cool as.

A good vibe, friendly staff, live music and seriously good food. What more could you ask for. I'll be back!
