We are so glad we had Jessica marry us in November! It was such an easy decision to have her as our celebrant as soon as we met via Zoom (thanks lockdown days) and it continued to be easy and perfect the whole way through!

Jessica is loving, kind, funny, thoughtful and organised, everything you want in a celebrant. She wrote a wonderful ceremony, helped with vows, stress on and before the day and managed typical changing Victorian weather like a boss during our ceremony! It felt like we had a friend marrying us and we will truly miss our catch ups and emails now the wedding is over.

We highly recommend having Jessica marry you, you will not regret it!

From our first (virtual) meeting with Jess, my now husband and I knew we wanted Jess to be the one to marry us! She had the perfect vibe - asked all the right questions, made us feel confident and is just a lovely, fun person.
We wanted our ceremony to be a reflection of us - fun, a little bit sappy, and full of great stories - and Jess totally nailed it.
While we never got to meet Jess in person before the day, between the video calls, many emails & fantastic love quiz, we were confident that our ceremony would go off without a hitch. We loved it, so many of our guests told us they did too, and we even had a few friends ask for Jess’s details for their own upcoming weddings.

Where do I begin.
Jess is one of our closest friends and from the moment Jess told us at our engagement party she was becoming a celebrant my eyes lit up and I instantly knew she was our girl.
Throughout the whole duration of our wedding planning we ran into a few issues due to Covid-19. We had to post pone our wedding, luckily only once, but even so as you can imagine any bride would be I was devastated. Jess was by my side every step of the way (even though she lived in another state). She even sent me a beautiful card and and some delicious cookies on the day we were meant to get married, that made smile.
Fast forward to our next postponement date things were looking up. Everything was on track and finally our big day was approaching. Jess checked in with Pete and I numerous times making sure the finer details were in place, she made us feel content with no worries.
Although Covid-19 had been on a low, the week of our wedding it decided to ramp up and Sydney broke out with a cluster. As Jess lived in Melbourne we were unsure if she would be able to make it but she explored all options, even lining up a backup celebrant just incase. Jess did everything in in her power to ensure she was there for us by jumping on a plane the day before and made it just in time, luckily the restrictions was able to let her do so.
She landed in Sydney and drove straight to our wedding venue to attend our wedding rehearsal where she coordinated the bridal party so the big day would run smoothly.
Jess wrote us a ceremony that was beyond our wildest dreams, she made it sound like she knew us better then we knew ourselves.
Standing in the sunshine on the most important day of our lives in front of our family and friends listening to what Jess had written is a moment in our life we will never forget, it was perfect. The ceremony was everything we imagined and more, Jess was uplifting and confident and suited the vibe of our wedding.
We had many compliments from the guests of our wedding on how incredible Jess was and our videographer loved her that much he even used her voice in our beautiful video.
We would highly recommend Jess to any couple out there looking for the perfect celebrant. Jess went above and beyond for our wedding and we will always be forever grateful. Thankyou Jess.xx

I simply cannot fangirl enough over what an amazing celebrant Jess was in my marriage to Justin. Jess was super organised and the perfect balance between sweet and romantic, whilst being funny and super engaging as well. We met Jess on zoom during the C word and even on zoom knew she was the one for us straight away. Jess was the welcomed calming presence on the day when my husband's transport was late! Jess managed our guests easily and all the little thoughtful touches on the day did not go un-noticed. If you pick her you will be doing yourself a favour. Jess was an absolutely amazing celebrant! She is friendly, easygoing and personalised everything perfectly to suit what my husband and I wanted. Prior to the wedding day she met with us in person and on the day she took the time to meet each of us before the ceremony to go over everything & soothe any nerves. She had fantastic tips and suggestions, and had come equipped on the day with our vows printed (& produced some scissors right when I needed them!). She did a beautiful job in the ceremony sharing our love story & marrying us. We felt so relaxed around her in that special moment and we will never forget her. She also left us a lovely surprise we discovered at the end of the night - a gorgeous bag with our paperwork & a bottle of Sparkling! Jess so kindly stepped in to help when our first celebrant was no longer able to make it to our day & we are so grateful she did. From the moment we first met with Jess, we knew she was the right lady for the job. From beginning to end, Jess was passionate, organised, detail orientated and incredibly calming. No question to big (or small) and always had time for us, ensuring that we would be completely prepared to walk down the aisle.

Jess was an INCREDIBLE celebrant for our wedding. Due to COVID and lockdowns, we only got to meet via zoom a couple of times prior to the big day and somehow Jess managed to completely capture our love. We have received so many compliments on our ceremony and how it was the perfect blend of romance and humour. Our goal was for people to walk away from our ceremony knowing our love story and who we are as a couple, and Jess just smashed it out of the park. Jess was hilarious and kind and made us both feel so at ease. She was amazing to communicate with and answered my millions of questions so quickly. We can’t recommend her enough. We were married by Jess this weekend and the entire experience from beginning to end was an absolute dream. From our very first meeting it was obvious that she loved her job, and was very keen on getting to know us both individually and as a couple. She was super on top of things as well; we didn’t have to worry a single bit about all the formalities and paperwork - she made sure that we did everything we needed, when we needed, and was always available and happy to help with whatever questions we had.

The wedding itself went off without a hitch, and many of our guests thought she had known us for years! She even sent us off with a gorgeous card, our printed vows, and a bottle of bubbles! If you’re looking for a celebrant who is dedicated to making your day all about you and your relationship, then look no further - Jess is your gal!

Oh my, where to even start! We knew we wanted our special day to be authentically us. We wanted it to tell our story, and be the perfect mix of happy, emotional and funny! The ceremony that Jess delivered was just that and more! She told our nearest and dearest how we met and all of the special moments that brought us towards our big day. She had the crowd laughing and crying all at the same time, it was an emotional roller coaster! Jess spoke with such a confident calming manner that really helped us feel relaxed and experience every moment of our ceremony!
We loved that Jess was so organised and calming, she’s such a pro! She let’s you have your own moment while standing nearby, coming in for the important parts! This allows you to really be in the moment with your fiancé, creating some magic!
In the lead up to our big day she was always available to chat and she made it a stress free beautiful experience.
We honestly love Jess so much and couldn’t imagine our big day with anyone else.

I am a shy person that doesn't like attention or public speaking so the ceremony was a daunting thought, however, Jessica went above and beyond to help me write my vows and make me feel comfortable the whole way, and for that I am forever grateful.
Jessica was patient with us and so easy going that she felt like we were working with a mate - exactly the vibe you want when planning a wedding.

Jess Hughes made our day feel magical and effortless!

After attending many weddings leading up to our big day, my husband and I had experienced a fair share of average celebrants, so finding Jess was INCREDIBLE! She put in a massive effort in making sure the ceremony was unique to our story and surpassed our expectations to ensure it felt exactly right in reflecting us as a couple.
Jess was involved throughout the whole process offering advice along the way when we needed it and allowing us to edit and change anything in the ceremony we wanted (not that it needed any changes anyway)!
On the big day, Jess helped to keep us calm and was so incredibly organised with her own speakers and music that we didn't need to worry about a thing.

My partner and I could not recommend Jess highly enough for your wedding. She is so invested in making your day special and will go all out to make it memorable and fun! She has great attention to detail (her outfits will even match your wedding vibe which will make your photos AMAZING!) and she will create a ceremony that honours your relationship and will be flexible to make it truly authentic to you! Our wedding was originally planned for March 2020 and we had to cancel due to COVID-19 eight days before (an absolute nightmare!). Jess was amazing as she supported us through this difficult time. She was flexible in helping us find a new date and worked within our new plans for how we would get married. Jess married us in an elopement style wedding with just close family and friends present in December 2020 and then AGAIN in March 2021 with our 120 original wedding guests. She also helped us by playing the music I walked down the aisle to and kept my partner calm and happy while the guests arrived (at both weddings). She travelled to get to us on both occasions and we couldn't have been more appreciative. Jess also offered us Zoom meetings during COVID which meant we could connect and discuss our plans and hopes for our big day. 10/10! An absolutely wonderful, talented celebrant. Jess is fantastic! She was enthusiastic about performing our ceremony, and helped me (the anxious bride) to feel so much better about the entire process. We really lucked into having Jess! She wrote and performed the entire ceremony and we couldn't have been happier. Jess did an incredible job of getting to know us and spoke as if she'd known us for years. Thank you!

We feel so unbelievably lucky that we found Jess to be our celebrant for our big day.
