Jerusalem Creek Marina & Holiday Park reviews
27 We only dropped in for a quick visit. But it looked really nice. General store, beer and meals. What more could you need
We went down to the water as well and had a look, made me wish i had a boat!
The place is practically empty, the staff aren’t very approachable, and they stop serving meals at 5: 40.at least the view is nice?
Had an amazing day out on the barge, exploring the waterways and enjoying a picnic on the water. Highly recommend to all!
The best place around the lake, Eildon. Such a good developed spot, all that you need to have an amazing couple of days to relax during the hot days. The Café offers plenty of space with reasonable prices. You can have some water activity as well a long way from the city vibes.
Launched my boat here to stay at the campgrounds. Boat ramp facilities are pretty good, but no jetty, etc, to tie your boat up to when launching and retrieving, you have to pull up onto rocks to get in and out. The shop, pub there was a big disappointment. It was never open. Also tried to book a dinner there on a Friday night, in the middle of January school holidays, and it wasn't opening for dinner, only lunch.
Great way to enjoy boating at Lake Eildon, just step onto your boat from the balcony and off you go.
We felt really fortunate to meet Peter, he was really knowledgeable and abundantly helpful taking us privately on our first trolling fishing boat. He really enjoys fishing and it made us have a peaceful time too. We weren't disappointed because we caught 12 fish between us! They were all under limit and I appreciate that he showed us the ethical way to hold the fish because he really cares. He was kind enough to share a few secret spots should we come back (which I think we definitely will). I liked that it was in the evening as well so no sunburn (there was a shade cloth though for daytime) and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours. Thank-you!
Perfect spot to launch your boat at Lake Eildon, loads of water activities and boat hire. Also the cafe at this place has a lot of variety to choose from.
Bad system in place. Service poor.
Line up for takeaway and dine in.
Hence the 1 1/2 hr wait to eat and after lunch rush had finished.
Thankyou! My mate and i hired a kayak with this group- also did some swimming and fishing. The staff were so friendly and laid back and helped us out so much! There is heaps to do here and we will definitely be back! But thanks so much to the staff for going the extra mile with info, fishing tips and good banter!:)
A wonderful spot on the lake with cold beers & cheerful, helpful staff. Did not get the chance to eat here but loved the view & rented many a boat! A must when visiting Lake Eildon.
Awesome customer service. We hired a picnic boat for the afternoon and had an amazing time on the water. No boat license required!
Didn't stay, just stopped past for fuel after a couple of days out on the lake. Friendly staff reasonable prices for fuel. Was there a few years back and it has definetly taken a turn for the better. Great job guys. I shall return.
Love this place. There's so much to do for both children and adults.
There's boat hire, jet ski hire, kayak hire, you name the watersports they have it.
They also have a quality restaurant and accommodation set in beautiful country.
Definitely worth a weekend stay.
Wow first time here what a awesome place.
First day trip here and there was everything here from a great shop and Frendly staff.
A Pub with a great eating area overlooking spectacular view.
Good boat ramp and parking.
Love to come back.
Great park close to the lake with easy boat access. Facilities a little rough around the edges and in places it feels more like a state forest camping ground than a caravan park, but for your boat and lake lovers that like things a little less luxurious, it is perfect!
While the 501 bar is nice and the staff are friendly, unfortunately they over water accomodation is a real let down.
It is in dire need of updating, great idea but too old and run down for the price charged.
Place was generally in poor and uncleanly condition throughout but bathroom was basically not usable, shower screen completely missing with water damage everywhere. Given the poor maintenance it was obviously not clean and not pleasant to use at all.
Certainly visit for the shop and bar but save yourself disappointment and avoid the accommodation.
Great view and decent sized shared campsites.
Staff were all really friendly down by the lakes store.
Downside is that there were really loud obnoxious groups of youngsters starting up at 7am - 3am, both in the paid camp grounds and camped on the lake.
Great views and amazing atmosphere within the campsite, ruined by non existent service and rude people down at the 501 bar & grill.
Me and my friends loved the camping experience and recommend anyone to go there. Save yourself a bad time by bringing extra food and drinks and cooking at camp instead.
No Wifi in the park, little phone reception, Just love it. So much so you forget what day it is. Mix that with the water, the company a camp fire and a nice cold beer and the pup sitting next to you! You may say Paradise!
