Jenny's Early Learning Centre - Maiden Gully

We have been a part of Jenny’s ELC for many years now and have always been happy with the care provided.
We are always greeted with smiling faces and made to feel welcome.
The educators do an amazing job and genuinely love what they do.

The front desk staff (Jodie in particular) every morning are very welcoming and talk to you and greet you and your child by your first name. The staff that interact with my child are welcoming and assist with settling if needed. There is always lots of outside play which my child really enjoys. They outfits to keep the crawlers and babies warm and dry are fantastic.

Jennys ELC Maiden Gully is very highly recommended. The staff are so friendly, understanding and always there to help if needed. My kids have absolutely loved their educators and have made so many lifetime friends. I also love the daily reflections on the app with photos and updates of what the children have participated in during the day.

We have been a part of the Jenny’s Maiden Gully family for the last 6 years. Our children have attended from when they were 1, right through to the kinder program. Every educator has been amazing, kind, caring and have gone above and beyond to cater for the needs of our kids. We have had a couple of challenging times over the years, and the extra support and planning put in place at these times was incredible. The staff and educators are always so happy and welcoming and provide great feedback on the activities they have been a part of through the day. Mikaela the Centre Director has also been an amazing support, going above and beyond for us, she has always been very supportive and responsive to queries.
We finish our time at Jenny’s this year, and when the time comes, we will really miss everyone. I highly recommend Jenny’s Maiden Gully.

Jenny’s ELC is such an amazing centre, I’m so glad we chose to send our daughter here.

The staff are all so friendly and really get to know children’s individual needs. My daughter suffered from separation anxiety for a period of time and the educators went above and beyond at drop off time to make her (and me!) feel at ease. They have also been so helpful recently with advice on school selection and application tips. I think the educators here have a real impact on how successful the centre is - they do a brilliant job.

The activities and experiences on offer are highly engaging and my daughter loves all the fun excursions she gets to participate in. The children are taught lots of little life skills, I’m often surprised by what my daughter has picked up from her days at Jenny's. She recently recited an acknowledgement of country at home that blew me away!

I can’t fault the communication - as a parent you always know how your child’s day has been through conversations with educators as well as being updated with daily stories and photos through the app.

I can go to work without a worry knowing my daughter is happy, well cared for and well fed! Well done to Mikaela and the team:)

We have loved starting at Jenny’s Maiden Gully. The staff are all amazing and have gone above and beyond our expectations to settle us in and make us feel comfortable, we already feel so welcomed and cared for. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

We have been fortunate enough to have had children at Jenny’ ELC Maiden Gully since 2019. Our oldest is now in their kinder program and we couldn’t be happier with the care he has received over the years. Being rather shy he has found transitions hard and the staff have supported him and built his confidence every step of the way. Our second child started at Jenny’s at the beginning of this year. We were somewhat nervous about his starting due to him having complex medical issues, including a very restricted diet and potential breathing difficulties. We have been blown away by how supportive and understanding the centre has been in catering for his needs and ensuring he has a rich experience in the centre. Their high level of communication (& reassurance he is doing well) and willingness to learn about his medical conditions and needs has been deeply appreciated. We leave both our children confidently in Jenny’s ELC Maiden Gully’s care, knowing that they will be well cared for and receive quality and appropriate early childhood education.

Great centre with friendly & caring staff, good class sizes and a great environment for both my children who have attended for the past 3 years. Since Covid restrictions have eased the kids get to go on walks & excursions outside of the centre which they both love and provides a great experience for the kids outside of the regular daycare activities. Overall its been a great experience

Have used Jenny's for care for both of my daughters since they were apund 12 months old. Both girls have always had lots of fun, learnt new things and have been well looked after by all staff members. We have loved our time at Jenny's ELC Maiden Gully

Couldn't recommend an early learning centre more highly. We are onto our third child that we've sent there, and what we love is that a lot of the staff have been the same throughout the 7 years we've been through the centre. Each child has had different needs, and are always accommodated. We love the communication app where we get sent photos and updates throughout the day on sleeps/food/nappies etc as well. Mikaela the centre manager is delightful and we just love everyone!

This centre has always given me the confidence to drop my son off and know he was in the safest of hands as I returned to work. He now asks to go to daycare and gets his bag and heads to the door! There is never ever an issue in a request and the support I have received from the team in this transition back to work has be phenomenal.
I wouldn’t be looking anywhere other than Jenny’s ELC Maiden Gully for someone to look after my son!

We love Jennys ELC at Maiden Gully. The staff are very professional and take wonderful care of our children. We are never worried about how they will be looked after once we’ve dropped them off. We feel our children are developing faster through their interactions with the educators at Jennys and interacting with other children. We could not recommend Mikaela, Laura and the rest of the team at Jennys ELC Maiden Gully. Not only do they take excellent care of our children they look after our welfare as well which we feel is really important. Nothing is ever too much for the team.

The team at Jenny’s in Maiden Gully are so amazing. From the minute you enter they are so welcoming and if they have any concerns they ring straight away. My daughter transitioned from another daycare to Maiden Gully Jenny’s and I was unsure about how she would go, the next week she was running in without even saying goodbye. My son started this year and I had no worries about him being with new staff. They use great processes and are clear about everything. I also love the Xplor app getting the notifications and can see what the kids are up to during their day.

I highly recommend Jenny’s ELC! They always go above and beyond. You can tell the educators all have a genuine interest and love for children, it’s not just a job for them. They put in an amazing effort through Covid times, always keeping parents updated, providing some certainty and stability even when it was the most difficult of times. All of my kids have loved going through Jenny’s and made great friends there. If there is anything that needs to change, they are so accommodating. I am genuinely really happy with the centre. They also make days exciting and fun for the kids, always dressing up with great themes like book week, wearing your footy colours, or getting ready for Christmas (some of the outfits have been next level amazing!).
They have interesting incursions and excursions. They have chickens and the kids can collect eggs and feed the chooks. They are also very community focused and supportive of families when they might be going through a hard time. I remember a cooking schedule for a family that had a member battling cancer. Incredible people, loving and kind. I could go on forever but I will leave it there for now.

Both my children have been attending Jenny's since they were babies and I honestly wouldn't want to send them anywhere else. All staff treat the parents and kids like they're family members and are just so lovely to deal with. The staff have always been open with their communication with me and have also helped us work through particular medical issues the kids have experienced, and have been so supportive of us during these challenges. I cannot speak highly enough for the centre, my kids love going there and our interactions have always been positive. I'd recommend them any day of the week:)

As a parent I would highly recommend Jenny’s ELC Maiden Gully. The staff are always friendly and fulfil the needs of my child on a day to day basis. It is very comforting knowing my child is in safe hands while in care. My child enjoys going to daycare at Jenny’s and is always happy to go. Thank you to all of the Educators who look after my child.

You can't judge a book by it's cover. My children initially started their childcare journey at another centre, a beautiful, shiny, new establishment that promised the world, but after a year it just wasn’t ticking all the boxes. We moved to Jenny's ELC Maiden Gully upon the recommendation of a trusted colleague (an early childhood educator herself, a trainer and assessor for a local education provider – so she sees and knows most of the local centres quite well). I was initially hesitant, it was an older centre, it was smaller, there were more children, a smaller outdoor area than my children were used to, I wasn’t sure I was doing the right thing. Fast forward a few months and both of my children have settled in so well at Jenny's, my youngest (who would scream tears of dread at her previous centre drop offs unless her one preferred educator was present) now dashes into Jenny’s with excitement, with little more than a wave goodbye in my direction; this morning, as she dismissed my existence entirely at the Butterflies door, she tore through her classroom and leapt into the arms of her best mate Jessie (educator) for a cuddle. I love that she loves spending her days here. My eldest is making great progress with her milestones in the Grasshoppers room, the educators do a fantastic job. The outdoor area is safe for barefoot play (which I know many other centres do not allow). It is also great being able to see the daily photos and write ups on what the children have been getting up to each day through the Xplor app. I spoke to a lot of centres when looking to move my children, and although (at the time) Jenny’s did not have any spaces available for my children, Mikaela was just one of two directors across Bendigo that actually made me feel comfortable and confident, she listened to my questions and took the time to guide me, where others just said “no, sorry, we’re full” and sent me on my way. I’m really happy that we made the move to Jenny’s, and most of all, my kids are happy here, which is the most important thing!

My kids have been going to Jennys in Maiden Gully since they were babies, as well as my nieces and nephews. All staff take care of them as if they are their own. I am always made aware of what is going on and how my kids days have gone. The centre is always super clean and my kids are always coming home happy. Highly recommend!
