Jenny's Early Learning Centre - Strathfieldsaye

We have been with Jenny's for over 6 years and all our children have loved there time there. The staff are fantastic and caring and the attention they are provided is great. The facilities are clean and engaging for the children's learning.

My 2 year old son has just started at Jenny's early learning strathfeildsaye and he loves it, the communication is amazing, the care is fantastic, my son always comes back happy and exhausted because of how much fun he has had! His been a few times now and I have not had to worry about his transition from a different facility to this one, the workers are amazing. I hope to move my son over full time soon, will not go any where else.

We have been a part of the Jenny's ELC Strathfieldsaye centre for over 8 years, and we can not speak more highly of the staff and facilities they provide. The staff not only feel like family, but they know all the kids names who walk through the door and are so kind and caring. We would never go anywhere else.

Jenny’s Early Learning Centre in Strathfieldsaye is excellent. My daughter has been going there for 1.5 years now and she absolutely loves it. Always coming home, telling me about her day and naming all of her wonderful educators. She is always cared for and provided many opportunities to engage in various activities. The communication from management is excellent and they care for their students as well as their students families very well, always trying to provide extra days or support where they can when we need it. Very happy we chose Jenny’s Strathfieldsaye for our little girl!

We've had a wonderful experience at Jenny's over the last 4 years and have been so happy with our daughter's learning and development. We've formed strong relationships with the educators and it will be sad for us to leave when we move on to school!

Jenny’s Strathfieldsaye has been an amazing experience for our family. Our son has been attending from six months old and has been given such great care by every educator and member of the staff at Jenny’s. He loves playing in such fun and engaging spaces and enjoys the yummy food. Highly recommend this centre, keep up the incredible work everyone:)

Since starting at Jenny's ELC in Strathfieldsaye my son has had so much fun and is super excited to go to care each day. He always leaves with a smile and is always so happy to be there.
All the educators have been incredibly kind and supportive. The centre has a strong line of communication with families and and also has a real community feel. I can go to work each day knowing my child is in safe and capable hands.

All of our children have attended Jennys Strathfieldsaye and we could not be happier. The team have been so supportive with each of our children as they transitioned into the daycare environment as well as helping us parents along the way. The team are wonderful, nurturing and fun and our children have built such beautiful relationships with their educators along the way. So fortunate to be part of the Jennys Strathfieldsaye family.

Jenny's Strathfieldsaye is excellent. All our kids have thoroughly enjoyed the time they spend there. The best part of the center is the people. They don't just care for the kids, they care for the parents as well. They are always there to help, offer advice or just make you smile. Pick up time is great way to finish off the work day. Keep it up!

Both my kids attend Jenny’s and they’ve been nothing but amazing. My son took a little while to settle in but they did everything they could to help the transition into daycare easier. My daughter has a range of medical conditions and they’re always making sure everything is dealt with and her health and well-being is a priority.

Wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else for daycare except for Jenny’s in Strathfieldsaye!?

The Staff in the joeys room (babies) are very aware of children's autonomy and support every child's individual needs and requirements for their social and emotional wellbeing. They practice mindfulness by providing moments of relaxation within the program. These moments of relaxation are determined on an individual base through conversations with parents. But also by reading the cues and behavior's of the babies within their care. This knowledge helps the Staff connect with every child and support each child's autonomy. They do this by listening to the children and engaging in meaningful and connected conversations, creating knowledgeable insights and building family and community connections.
Across the Joeys room, the quality care Staff give shines through in their nurturing of the babies. For example, through subtle changes in a child's behavior, Staff can tell that they aren't feeling well, need a nappy change, or have had enough food at mealtimes.
The Staff run each session to meet the interests and needs of the children within the program. These quality professional communications can be seen throughout the room with Staff singing songs, picking babies up because they look like they need a cuddle being responsive to a child's facial cues and body language. Opening up the outside environment because they can see the babies want to explore and develop their skills outside and taking books and music outdoors to engage the children in a different environment. The Staff also gathers information on children through a goal and outcome sheet and includes families in these discussions. They also connect and build relationships with families personally by asking meaningful questions about each child, for example, how did they sleep? Are there any changes we need to know about? Therefore building' and increasing parent confidence in the quality caring babies room experience' (Warren et al 2019).
The Staff all work collaboratively to support each other in sharing information, resources and knowledge. Knowledge sharing of each babies autonomy is constantly reflected with the room leader providing strong leadership for all Staff to help them grow and develop their skills. This is done through a roster that has each babies individual needs listed from bottles, how many sleeps a baby has during the day, when they were last changed and general information from conversations with parents. Staff conversations offer opportunities for the team to discuss and support each other within the room. Every educator is supported and knows what each baby's needs are, which builds their skill set. This approach to communication within the room strengthens and enhances each educator's teaching style, thereby creating a cohesiveness that shines through each team of educators—building the baby's sense of belonging and connectedness to their carers. Building these respectful relationships through staff communications acknowledges all cultures within its program. It supports all families across all socio-economic backgrounds through an inclusive approach.
And working collaboratively with each other and having respectful, caring relationships with children and families provides a quality program complete with richness. That allows families to participate in a program that can 'positively impact children developmentally ' (VAGO 2015: 17). In addition, these positive impacts can support families in building a network of connections.

Jenny's has been a very positive experience for our son! It's really awesome to see him love going to (childcare and now) kinder so much. The educators are genuine and passionate about their roles which creates a really warm and welcoming environment. Communication is great and they are always available whenever you need to reach out about anything. I really appreciate the effort the put into daily reflections and the expreiences they take the children on with the excursions and incursions has been a highlight. Thanks to everyone again for being amazing:)

Both our children (age 2 and 4) attend Jenny’s Early Learning in Strathfieldsaye, and they love it. We have found that the educators support our children in their growth and development as well as providing useful parental information to us. Our eldest has uncommon allergies and Jenny’s has worked with us to make the room safe so they can enjoy social interactions. We love the friendly team at Jenny’s and so do our kids.

When your child attends Jenny’s ELC Strathfieldsaye, you are part of a family. All of the staff genuinely care about you and your child and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The team at Jenny’s Strathfieldsaye are friendly, informative and look after my little people so well. Always available to discuss any concerns and have a genuine love for the children they look after. The foods are made fresh and tailored to little and sometimes fussy tummies. The rooms are clean, tidy and safe. Their programs are inclusive and fun whilst educational. I would 100% recommend Jenny’s in looking after your babes.
