7Love this open space but hate the new playground they have spend a lot of money redesigning. The old play ground was great for all kids. This one is really only for kids between 1.5- 4 years. The play equipment is designed for really small kids so not great anymore for my 5 year old daughter. Pretty disappointed with the council for not making the playground good enough for all kids. Not sure who designed it. I really hope they come back and add equipment so that more children can use it.
The playground was revamped end 2022 or so, and has new features that appeal to young toddlers to primary school ages. There's a brand new toilet with 2 cubicles and a wash basin with soap - careful with the tap though cos it's super strong!
Nice park to walk around. Has gym equipment scattered around the trail. Also has a Pokemon gym.
The recent tree plantings and new pathway are good additions. However the inconsistent availability of waste bins seems inexplicable.
Some good play equipment, a nice walking track around the park and a great open area for dog exercise, kite flying, etc.
Good park to get some exercise and / or to have a relaxing time. Good paths, nice open areas and pleasant scenery. Exercise stations along the looping with a good size playground as well.
