Jells Lake Bird hide reviews
6Nice calm and peaceful part of the park, me and my wife love to stop here on our walks
It’s ok. If you’re in the area or your doing a walk around the lake, then it’s a nice stop with nice views. Stayed here for 2 mins before continuing on my walk.
Great little bird watch house to observe the birds at the park lake. Peaceful and serene. If you’re patient you’ll see a lot of beautiful fowl. Also easy to access for almost anyone. Pram friendly path even if it’s a little rough at spots it not rocky.
Walk a circuit of the lake, stick to the inner trails, and you’ll come across this small bird hide. It’s a modest little thing, but does look out not only over the lake, but also towards a couple of small Islands numerous birds call home. Coming up to sunset is a wonderful time to be this side of Jells Lake, and watching the birds fly in and crowd those trees is a treat.
For the record, if you’re there at sunset you’ll have about 20 minutes till last light to wander out, which has been plenty of time for me.
Nice bird hide if you stay long enough you can see so may species of birds having a fly or rest
Some good views and lot's of birds about. Pretty basic but does the job and has some info as well.
