Jefferies Your Local Provedore reviews
69 Used to be good for coffee. Slowest coffee service lately they just stand around talking.
Go to Rumour Mill, nicer staff and much shorter wait.
Jefferies is a long way removed from the old independent supermarket that used to occupy this space a quarter of a century ago. Rumours of Jefferies' delights had spread, and I had to come back to this old stomping ground to check it out.
Artisan and small maker produce and products, an incredible salad and deli selection, great locally roasted coffee served onsite, and the bottle shop range is NOT what you'd expect in a little suburban small supermarket. A modern and small maker focussed wine selection finishes the picture on what has evolved into a sensational local grocer.
You don’t mind waiting for ages for coffee when it’s busy but l have consistently waited for ages here even when quiet. In fact regularly finish my shopping and even though l have paid for my coffee when l entered it is still not ready. Staff on machine seem disorganised. Great supermarket for speciality goods, shame the baristas are letting the side down.
This boutique supermarket is a very pleasant feast for the senses. They have all manner of gourmet foods, ranging from packaged deli meats to heat-at-home pizzas, tarts, salads and more. The fruit and veg is glossy and perfect. There is lots of fancy giftware focussing on self-care, sensuously-perfumed soaps, candles, etc, plus baby and pet things too. There’s also a nice florist on site.
I’ve given it four stars because it is expensive, also because they package up lots of the produce unnecessarily. Like separated garlic cloves in a plastic punnet - not cool.
Lived in the general area for 35 years, I don't shop here regularly due to lcoation, but always make the effort if I'm after quality products. I like the modern clean feel in a store that doesn't try to be a big supermarket.
Wicked selection of food and groceries here alot of out of the box items
Some amazing ready to eat and amazing heat and eat options
Alot of healthy options to explore
This is a really interesting shop, in a good way. It contained some different and difficult to find groceries.
We were very happy shopping here.
This is the worst supermarket ever been to. Staff are super rude almost snobby overpriced items. Will not ever shop here again!
Was driving past and thought I would call in. Glad I did! This was one of those fun shops with lots of local made products. Was cool to see gifts as well in the lead up to Christmas
Amazing! Love this supermarket!
Priced reasonably, obviously abit more expensive then other supermarkets, priced roughly the same as a IGA, love the variety, love that I can buy things here that I can't at Woolies or Coles
Stumbled across this place. Loved it BUT extremely long wait for coffee/hot chocolate.
Awesome selection of cakes, biscuits, fresh gourmet roles, breads, groceries, delicatessen, Florist churning out fresh floral designs. I would love if this was in my district. I'm so jealous! Well done!
Great local store. Amazing products. Lovely shopping experience. Not in everyones budget for a weekly shop though.
Wide range of products, great local produce and imported, great specialty store and friendly staff
This is a fantastic boutique supermarket. All sorts of things you can't get anywhere else. There's an in house coffee bar (excellent coffee), a divine florist. The pre-cooked food counter is superb. And the bottle shop is very good. The only thing that stops me from giving Jeffries five stars is that it's really expensive. Worth it if you can afford it.
The best foodies place in croydon. Everything from around the world, great service and coffee and cake.
Nice range of small business owned products, of course this means it is slightly more pricy than Coles but you get your moneys worth.
They sell great coffee. Store is stocked with many and varied goods you can't buy at other stores, fantastic. Owners are great people.
In the last 6 months, Jeffries has seriously stepped up their craft beer and premix drink selection. That outer eastern burbs have really suffered for lack of good choice, but Jeffrey's is now part of that changing tide!
Has got all the things you can't buy in other stores. Great home made pies, fritters and salads.
Just had your bacon and leek quiche and it was superb.so very tasty. Even two people I had it with who don't usually like quiche commented how delicious it was! Thanks!
