I want to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Jeanswest.

On the weekend I got an email advising double discount for members and since there were a couple of things I liked in the email I thought I would head down to my local store at Fountain Gate and pick them up. I get to the store only to be told they are closing down and don’t have any new stock so I left extremely disappointed as not only couldn’t I purchase what I was after but the store I always shop at was closing.

So I decided to purchase a dress and top online taking advantage of Afterpay. The items arrived today and the dress was too large but I liked it very much so I rang around a few other stores and found one in a smaller size so I went on a trek to change it over. When I went to change the size over I was told that because I purchased it on afterpay they would have to refund it on afterpay then re charge it. I expressed how silly that was for a swap over but they said it was an afterpay policy, working for a company that uses afterpay extensively I know this is not their policy so it must be a jeanswest policy. So the staff member did the refund on afterpay then told me I couldn’t use afterpay to purchase the change of size dress because it was under your floor limit of $75, she said I needed to pay another way or spend more money to bring it up to the $75. If I had known this was what I would have to go through just to swap sizes I would never have purchased the dress online, I ended up leaving the store without the dress since the staff said they could do nothing, very disappointing.
